    Default ISBOXER Repeater problems

Hello,i'm currently having problems with repeater in ISBoxer.

I have Hurricane and Force of Nature setup to my F11,F12 keys and have them working properly and reliably,(after following the walkthrough).

I do not swap frames when moving between characters, instead I just mouse over to the static windows, click and play on that window.

My problem is that after intense BG PvP fighting, i'm left with a repeater state hanging around, that toggles whenever I swap to another character.

If I use my Toggle Keyboard and Mouse (Tab) Key ,(in my main window), to get rid of it,then shift to activate another window,it comes back and I have to toggle it away again.

The only way to clear it is to exit wow and log back in,which is a pain as you can imagine.

Has anyone had a similar problem,is it something i'm missing?

[Also another problem i'm having is being unable to move my characers up whilst in Druid Flight Form with the Jump key,I can't figure what the problem is here,i'm wondring if its a keymap i'm missing?]

Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

    Thanks in advance.

Not sure about the first, but the second - not being able to move up - is because you HAVE the space keybound bound.

Keys have two triggers, 'on press' and 'on release'. Binds, by default, activate 'on release'. this means when you press the space bar, nothing happens until you release it, then the space character is sent to each wow.

IS Repeater does it 'normally' - meaning when you press it sends press to each window and waits for your to release then sends the release. So deleting the space bind you have will allow it to start working normally.

You can also use the -press and -release switches when using the bind and the -hold with the press command.

    Code:
    bind -press FlyJumpSwimUP space FJSUP
    bind -release FlyJumpSwimStop space FJSStp
alias FJSUP relay all press -hold space
alias FJSStp relay all press space

But all that just makes it work like repeater would make it work by default.

Check if your 'Jump' key in ISBoxer Keymaps has 'Hold any Keystroke Actions while Hotkey is held' -> On. That worked for me.

As for the mouse repeater problem i don't have any answer. I have also had same problem but I rarely switch away from my main screen.

Gotta love Harem, holding onto those manually created commands instead of using ISBoxer p.s. try not to confuse people by posting them :P

The Repeater state is per window. If you want it applied to all windows when you hit a key, you need to make sure that your hotkey is changing it for all windows instead of only the current window. Personally I only apply the repeater state to my current window, but clearly in your case you want it applied to all. If you have a key that toggles one, and a key that toggles all, then you need to be careful about which you use.

For Jump/fly up, you need to make sure Hold is enabled for that key, like Nolife mentioned (which will roughly translate into what Harem posted, but dont let him confuse you, you don't need to know what it's doing behind the scenes)

If you continue to have problems, please share your ISBoxer config so that I, or anyone else looking at it, can give you informed suggestions. To do so, right click on "ISBoxer" at the top in the software, click on "Copy ISBoxer Toolkit Profile to Clipboard", then paste it wherever -- here, in email to me at lax@lavishsoft.com, in the ISBoxer Chat room, etc. Whoever looks at it can then copy and paste it into ISBoxer to see what you're doing (or if they are masochistic they will read the XML).

Thanks fellas for all your helpful replies, some of it is slowly making sense to me
I only picked up the Trial copy a day of so ago and have been hammering away at configuring it all since then.
I really like the software it seems to get to all those spots i've been wanting to take my boxing recently, and so i'll be sticking with it and upgrading in a few days.
I'll be sure to mail up my config file if I get stuck, although from what you guys have given me I think i'll get it figured
Anyway thanks everyone for the pointers,--->i'll get back to beating my head into my keyboard
