    Default Blink->Follow macro.

    hey guys,

Im having problem with blink macro. My blink macro is like this:

    #showtooltip Blink
    /cast Blink
    /follow Kekface

I already tried /stopcasting after blink and more times /follow Kekface.

But he just wont follow me after he blinked. Thats why i just press the /follow macro myself again.

    Kind regards,

it issues all the commands at the same time . . . there is no pause command for wow

you could possible add an instant cast aoe to eat the time inbetween the blink and /follow

i used blink on my main while the rest just kept following ,you are saying yours stop ?

No, his alt is the blinker, not the main; blink breaks autofollow apparently

Your macro casts blink and uses autofollow at the same time as he said; there SHOULD be a wait command of some sort, or a castsequence workaround to put in there but I don't do macros so I can't help ya there lol

does it not work if you press it twice?

  6. #6

    Default

there is no wait command its to close to legit botting through macros

    for example
if the button was in action bar button 1

    /cast [target=closest] fireball
    /wait cast time
    /cast frostbolt
    /wait cast time
    /drink water [or whatever]
    /wait 10s
    /script actionbar1

bottin but no waiting so it cant cast more than 1 spell in a macro

does it not work if you press it twice?
    /cast Blink
    /follow focus

    Pressing it twice works perfectly

I actually made myself a little "face tank" macro with xkeys. Very handy at times for mages.

Programmed it to send the "follow tank" command on Xkey down and to press and release move back key on Xkey up. This way I need to press and hold the key for about half second for my mages to execute a complete "face the tank" maneuver without moving much (follow is not instantaneous so you do actually have to hold it for a half second). Coupled with "follow the healer" key right next to it, it is very handy for regrouping after the party gets scattered by fear etc.
