Default Dual Boxing from Same Comp?

Is this possible? I have a dual core 6 gig of memory machine. If I make a copy of WoW and put it on my desktop, I can run two instances right?

Is it advantageous to leveling this way?

Welcome to the site. Feel free to check out the wiki and poke your head around. Tons of information about boxing from the same machine.

For someone who wants it done tonight you haven't done a lot of research ;p I think you may have to move your deadline forward a day or 2, at least until you've absorbed all the information that's available on this site and the wiki.

There are numerous software based tools that can help you achieve your goal... so yes it's all possible on 1 computer.

Yes, its fully possible to dual-box on your computer. I don't know what GPU you have, but if it's not to old, it should be alright as long as you keep the graphic settings low.

If you haven't bought Keyclone yet, you should. Or consider ISboxer. Here is a step by step guide for setting up Keyclone.

Make an additional trial account and see if you can run both smoothly, no harm in trying

Take it from someone that just started multiboxing, take some time to read and absorb the info. There is a lot of information available that you will need as well as tools.

You don't have to make any copies of wow, you can run it from the same folder. You should be able to run two clients just fine.
I run 5 on my system:
    Quad Core
    9600GTx2
    4GB RAm
