This has really re-energized me. If the rewards are in fact the same, then that opens up many more different group options to be "competitive". I've already started considering both Hunters and Druids. Any other thoughts?

I'm thinking that 5-boxing a healer plus 4 straight DPS classes might be the way to go. They said that the idea as it exists now is that every week a different BG is the "Arena" BG where you gain points for winning those games. Then it gets converted to Arena points--So there's a cap, but you don't lose points by losing those games.

If it goes as plans, I'm thinking something like Shaman+4x Warlock or 4x Mage is going to be the best plan.

For your healer you'll want that Tremor Totem. My guess is that pure DPS classes are going to be better too... Hmmm. I've no clue what to do at this point

I'd like to see rated BG's allowing for larger numbers than 10 v 10 ,which imho is still too close to Arena to be fun for me.
I'm betting it will be though,not sure I can see Blizz giving away 40 man.

depending on sources, different information is available.

1) rated bg´s will give arena points
2) rated bg´s will provide arena gear equivalent gear

imo a pretty big difference

when it comes to lineup, i would say its the same as for arena. shamans will shine...

Maybe it's just me wanting something different, but I think that as long as you're getting at least one Tremor Totem any ranged DPS should be good for just BG's. It's not often you see another group as coordinated as we are in a BG, at least in my experience

Right now I'm pleveling 4x Warlocks, 4x Mages, and 4x Druids. I'm thinking that the travel form, immunity to snare, Cyclone and Root vs Hex, and the daze on Typhoon will make Druids more attractive.
