    Default Conditional Macros

I've been reading through the threads but haven't seen this is in plain english so i thought i would ask, can you do conditional macros?

    For example

    Target playerA
If playerA is dead Target playerB

    Thanks for your help

    You can.

    /target [target=one, nodead] [target=two, nodead] [target=three, nodead] [target=four, nodead] [target=five, nodead]

You can certainly do some macros that mimic a macro that is conditional. However much of the ability to write truly conditional macros was removed from the game with patch 2.0. Mainly to stop that sort of addon that pretty much automated play, some well written macros and addons still work round the edge of these restrictions like the one above but the more complex the condition the less likely you are going to be able to work round it.
Currently running 3x City of Heroes under Octopus

Well I think I can get something from the above, just wasn't sure in the formatting.

    Thanks ^^

Speaking of conditions, does anyone know if it is at all possible to check for a cast spell?

Situation, I'm running 3 hunters, my main casts Hunter's mark of hotkey 3, the two alts /startattack from the same hotkey, however sometimes the /startattack doesn't kick in and I currently have to press hotkey 3 again and also casting Hunter's Mark again. Although this is not a problem majorly it still bugs me slightly. Any ideas welcome.

Maybe you could use a castsequence for hunter's mark?

    /castsequence reset=3/target Hunter's Mark ,

The last "," is an empty cast, and it resets on an new target or after 3 seconds.

Why bother with start attack at all? Won't an arcane shot or any attack start auto attack?

you could just use /shoot instead but i agree, opening every fight with a mana shot drains your mp pretty quickly.
