    Default Keyclone Mouse Issue

    Hi all,

Just created an account for this question. I just upgraded to v1.9i and I can't get my assigned mouse buttons to input into the keyclone windows directly anymore. Keyboard commands are fine, but assigned mouse buttons (Logitech MX518) are screwed.

For example, I have a button on my mouse assigned as F1 which causes any of my toons to cast their flying mount. If I click on an individual keyclone (maximized) window, it wont work. The keyboard F1 will work, but not the mouse.

Here is the weird thing: If I open an extra window (3 keyclone windows + regular window), keyclone will pass all these mouse button commands from the regualr window to the keyclone windows. So if I click on the regular window and hit F1, then they will all mount up.

What is going on here? Help!

does your mouse have a 'profile' concept that is uses to determine what the mouse actions are when you are in certain windows? can you 'lock' the profile to wow?

    Default I figured it out

I found the answer in a separate post. The solution is to run the Logitch software as administrator just like I now have to do with Keyclone. Apparently, when keyclone is running as administrator it won't recognize the software for the mouse unless it too is changed to admin. Vista is evil.

My next question is pretty simple: How do I stop the Vista user account control message from popping up everytime i fire up either program? There has to be a way, I just haven't figured it out yet.
