Default Constant disconnects, need some advice

For two days I have been getting dc'd on all 5 of my accounts I'm using at varying times. They don't all dc at once, but they all stay up between 2-5 minutes before crashing. I have checked my networking equipment for errors and haven't found anything. Just to be sure I unplugged my route and went straight into the modem. Still happens. It doesn't matter if I am playing 1 toon or 5.

Maybe off topic, but right before it happened I got an e-mail saying I had tried to change the password on one account, which I hadn't. I got the e-mail on my phone so I looked at the sending address and it was noreply@blizzard.com. I thought the official address was donotreply@blizzard.com. Anyway, I deleted the main from my phone without opening it. I use an authenticator so no one could request a password reset but me (in theory).

This has been going on for two days and it's driving me nuts. I can't play at all. I have a ticket in and we'll see where that goes. Remove all addons is probably as far as that gets.

Are there logs that say why a DC happened or something that could give me some clues?

I would do a virus/spyware scan on your PC and then change you account passwords just to be safe. Are you sure you getting DCd is not someone else logging in on your account?

I did notice more lag yesterday, maybe it had something to do with that gathering in Anaheim, CA.

    Do you use Windows Seven?

I'm disconnected in city and sometimes in AV. I need to disable/enable my network adapter to recover internet....

This WAS happening to me last week, but since yesterday things seem to have calmed down a bit - not been DC'd in around 5 hours now (*touches wood).

I ran Spybot, BHO and my anti-virus is updated. It reminded me of when you accidentally log yourself out but it won't do that unless you can log all the way in. Even if they got my the authenticator they would have done something. Not one of my toons as moved an inch and nothing is missing. I have a buddy watching to see if I come online with any of my toons but he says I haven't (except when it's me).

I am using Vista 64. The disconnects are rhythmic, like every 2 minutes or every 5. It's weird.

    Default Regular disconnects

That started happening to me just before my network card died - might be worth checking that.

Wonder if your ISP has bandwidth monitoring on? Also over the past few days i have been lagging more than normal.. perhaps with 10 the lag monster is eating them?

hmm maybe you can view the "event viewer" in vista and see what happened when you disconnected

    http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Win...ef9da1033.mspx

maybe your drivers for the network card is corrupted or something. event viewer will also tell the times and date of when an error occured or a application stopped working. this way you can log into wow and when you get disconnected look at the time and check event viewer for the same time and date. this way you can pinpoint the problem(if it is not hardware related)

    I've recently had that too.
Basically two afternoons in a row.
1-2 of the five accounts would DC, but not the others.
Log one in, and a different account DC's.
Could not have all 5 on at the same time.
I have an authenticator and up to date anti-virus, plus don't go to weird sites.
The last week or so, the issue seems to have gone away.
