    Default Priestly Thoughts

Thinking of making some changes to the team; I don’t see that much of a need for a Mage other then portals and water…Will be RaF’ing up a new DestroLock to fill that spot.

Now the Priest question – Currently running Shadow; I don’t feel totally satisfied with the performance. DPS is well below my Ele Shaman, and she has to switch back and forth to toss out heals much like the Boomkin. I have ZERO experience playing a Disc spec; looking at the talents it appears to be appealing. What are the thoughts on both positive and negative with using a Disc Priest over the Shadow?

8/19/09 Level 62 – Pally (Tank); Priest (Shadow); Shaman (Resto); Mage (Frost); Druid (Balance)
8/29/09 Level 68 – Pally (Tank); Priest (Shadow); Shaman (Resto); DK (Blood); Druid (Balance)
9/5/09 Level 72 – Pally (Tank); Priest (Shadow); Shaman (Resto); DK (Blood); Druid (Balance)
9/19/09 Level 80 – Pally (Tank); Priest (Shadow); Shaman (Resto); Hunter (BM)); Druid (Balance)

For my money, holy is the healing spec for a priest in a multi box setup.

More than adequate tank healing (certainly for any five man content) with the natural and powerful group healing that really makes a holy priest shine.
