Holy Nova one-shots Roaming Dead in H CoS ...

I may be the last one to realize this so feel free to point and laugh ... but for those groups with priest healers, remember that even a glyphed Holy Nova easily solves the nuisance of little zombies congregating on your group while the tank is off dealing with the elites. I'd been hitting them with Seed of Corruption as their numbers built up. That required a lot more mana (SoC*3) and attention than just occasionally hitting my nova hotkey. I usually don't think of Holy Nova as being an offensive spell, y'know?

I got my first bronze drake last night. It's not like the roamers were a huge problem before, but they did require some attention before the nova trivilalized their impact. I'd never even come close to scoring the drake, but this time, without any upgrades since the last attempt, I killed the Corrupter with 2 minutes to spare.

Or if you dont need the divine aura buff use ret aura and they kill themselves on the shield while providing your shaman +mana from water shield, yay!

Hah, ret aura, another little trick I had access to but hadn't thought of! Oh well.

I'm up to 4/5 bronze drakes now. Tonight I was having to run the length of Strat for almost every wave and was sure I wasn't gonna make it. I ended up looting the Corrupter at 4 minutes remaining on the timer. Hm! I've been running Strat right after heroic ToC, so I've (usually) still had flask buffs to work with, probably making a lot of difference. I guess after another ToC upgrade or two, I'll try running both without flasks and see how I do.
