    Default couple questions

I am totally new to this and just discovered it. I have a couple questions about dual boxing. I have 2 computers but really cannot buy 5 computers do box. I would rather box 2 or 3 accounts from one computer.

    1. Can you box 3 accounts together from 1 computer or do you need 3 seperate computers for this?

    2. Depending on the answer from question 1, are there any guides for controlling 3 accounts from 1 computer?

    3. What are good characters for boxing for PvP 3v3?

    Cheers and happy NYE :P

    1. yes, there are a couple of solutions. auto hotkey (AHK) and keyclone are the primary ones. AHK is free, but requires scripting. keyclone has a one time, $10 fee (all updates free)... and is easier to use.

    2. there are posts in the threads called 'stickies' that appear at the top of each forum group. here is one in this group

    3. your character selection is up to you. warlocks and shammies seem to be the current favorite. i'd recommend any caster group to test it out and get your feet wet... then roll your idle group

good luck and welcome to the forums

    Thanks guys

From what I have seen and read, a 3v3 team is a bad idea if you want to do it via multi boxing. It seems that 2v2 and 5v5 is the best way of doing it with 5v5 being far the favorite.

I have 4 accounts but 2 are inactive and have not been used in a long time. So now I debate between 2 accounts on the same PC or going with 5 on the same PC. Any thoughts for lv 70 PvP?

I currently have the following lv 70 chars that can support the newbies for leveling: warlock, druid and Pally. If I decide to get another account, I guess I would end up doing 5 elemental shammy or a priest and 4 mages. If i stick with a 2v2 team, is there a combo that can be controlled from 1 keyboard and still do well in pvp? Maybe my druid and lock together?

How would u set it up that you can do a lock and resto druid together in 2v2?

    1) Yes but does depend on the hardware. Any dual core, or better, will most likely do the job but it will also need a fair bit of RAM, personally wouldn't reccomend under 1.5Gb (but RAM is cheap these days).
