My first time in AV with my new shaman team started out fine solo defended galv and pretty much just re took towers the whole game since the main battle caused my fps to die, well when the alliance was down to like 10 reinforcements i read this gem of a comment. "If the fels aren't going to fight we should kick them." Before responding I checked the scoreboard only to find two of my shamans in the top ten and the other three close behind sadly the game ended before I come hit him wit a witty come back.

On the alliance scoreboard I end up with all 5 in the top 10 and usually have 3 in the the 5. The biggest reason is the amount of lowbies in AV for leveling... makes me enjoy it much more

AV is a good BG for MB.

I go to galv at the beginning and launch my 4 earth elemental to help with tanking. After I go to balinda and try to break the attack by the horde. Retake the towers and graveyard. And finally, I go to Vanngar and defend.

Sometimes I go attack, but it's a bad idea many times. All people follow me and not guard towers. So we loose. I go attack only if we cannot break the horde defense.

4 fire elemental and a lot of chain lightning help

I stay back at the choke point
    recap towers

goes from 20% win chance for horde to about 80% if I do that

I'm surprised you waste a cooldown on Galv. He usually drops so fast and barely hurts whatever tank is there.

You don't play on Eitrigg/Alliance it seems

I use this cooldown because healer don't heal tanks, and tanks don't tank the mob. So, I use my earth elemental to save my time XD

I'll try to do it in the next week or two. I've never done it before but it's something I eventually want to try. I'm a bit shy to do it since I still don't have basic elements incorporated into my gameplay, such as using roots and cyclone.

I'm not sure how interesting it would be as much of the combat is in towers where it's just mayhem. Usually when I'm running to recap the first tower I try and take a look at how many are defending. If it's just one or two then I just load up with HoTs, run in and nuke. If there are more than 2 then I get the treants out, cast starfall, and spend my time healing whoever they're focusing. I could DPS them down, but with all the twists and turns in the tower is makes it difficult to know what's going on and where. To be honest 3 80s guarding a tower with their head out of their ass can often wipe my group of 5 due to the LOS issues and twists & turns. However, that's rarely the case.

Graveyard capping is usually very easy, though, since most are in the open. One typhoon burst gets rid of all NPC guards (not like they're trouble anyway) and most of the time any defenders can't handle 5 moonkins in the wide open area.

Really, the biggest reason we sometimes lose is because of a lack of tank. I try to find out who the tank is and then tell them do not go in until you have 10 HoTs on you.
