    Default OMG Stop Following ME!!

So over the past few days with your guys help i got my setup rocking and starting doing mid level BG's to learn the ropes and tweak some things. You guys my be use to this by now but it seems when running AB's no mater which base i take i have the rest of the BG "my team" following me just to watch.

While this is cool, we seem to lose a lot because every one grabbed some popcorn and is enjoying the shammy show. Guess its understandable as my shammy's are averaging about 75-100kills per BG.

Maybe i will have to start shewing them away!!!

Yeah, I often have followers to the detriment of the battleground. I can't blame them because I'd probably hang around just to watch, too. The problem is you rarely get credit for causing a win, but you often get blamed for a loss. Having others follow you all the time instead of doing your job increases your chance of getting blamed, though no fault of your own.

I've only multiboxed in AV which helps to avoid this kind of attention.

I think the best advice though is to ignore comments in BG chat unless they are folks calling out incoming to the various flags.

Being a boxer just makes you the biggest target for their scapegoat. I've played enough solo battlegrounds and seen the usual crying in there to know that they will always blame someone. If you weren't there it would be "OMG you guys Suck. I wish I'd rolled <insert opposite faction here>". The irony being we all wished he'd rolled the opposite faction too

The best ones are where you are told continually through the course of the BG how everyone on the team is a loser, how much you suck, how you need to learn to play and then you win

In AV I get about 95% positive response. It could be because I'm all 80 and starting to have decent PvP gear. Other BGs it's only about 50% positive, though I haven't been back since my gear upgrades (at least 5 pieces since).

With 5 80s you can turn the battle in AV. Typically I kill Galv with the group which gives time for horde to cap the first tower. I go and recapture our tower in which time they've capped the second tower. I go recap the second tower, return to the first if they capped it again, and then head down to Drek. With 5 moonkins healing the tank, as long as they can hold aggro I can keep them up with adds with ease. In the end I've delayed horde by a good amount of time by recapping towers and resetting their time and then allowed Drek to die earlier than normal. Of course, this all requires a tank... which isn't given in the new AV.

My favorite comment to date was by a priest as i was defending the mine in AB from 6 incoming. I did manage to kill them but lost 3 of my guys in the processes.... Then a lvl 43 priest say OMG you let me die and didnt heal me and then started to complain i left the flag to go get my 3 guys from the GY.

I politely asked him to do die at another base......

Yeah I get this all the time too, I did all BG's up to 70 and switched to AV only at 70.

I'm between lvls 29-49 on my teams questing the slow way and when times come when I actually want to jump into the battlegrounds, there's never any groups goin when I que up for them. One reason is cause of the time of day I'm only able to get on. Very early in the AM, between 6am-10am central US. Gonna run AV once my teams get to 50 and grind them for a while. Hopefully, I'll still get good xp in there.

you need only one follower, any awsome healer group healer like a druid makes your shammies indistructable. When I'm in a good Wintergrasp battle I love it when a good druid healer follows me around

    Same problem here.

Other players follow me all the time in AB, EOS, ...

All the time, when we lose, other players say it's my fault. I'm overpowered with my 4 chars and I'm just a noob because we lose.

Last days, I have a lot of badwords against me in BG. It's very sad to hear that

Many times I have a GM tell to see if I'm a bot or not. I think other players report me.

I'm sad to see how other players hate multiboxing...

I can't believe you get to chat with a GM... I feel so neglected.

I never liked any of the BG except for Alterac Valley and I'm starting to really like Wintergasp.
There is nothing like taking two multiboxers in and defend Balinda Stonehearth in A/V.
Even if they eventually kill you it's well worth the effort and lots of fun.
with 8 fire elemental all you can smell is burnt horde.

this of couse makes for a nice turtle and can cause you to get some grief from your fellow alliance players who wanted a quick win....
