    Default Keyclone Suggestions / Requests

As you may be aware I've just started using Keyclone and there are a couple of things I would like to be able to do. Possibly they already exist? But I couldn't see them so I thought I'd make the suggestion.

Firstly the drop down menu style section where you enter a command name to run it (on the main keyclone window). Is there anyway to run multiple commands at once? possible with a space between each one or a comma. Personally I have wow1, wow2, wow3, wow4, wow5 and it's just a bit tedious running each one individually.

Secondally, the mouse over focus system is nice, I like to be able to move my mouse to a screen and for it to become active without clicking. However is it possible to allow for me to bind a key to each window? So, for example I could press f1 and it focuses to wow1, f3 for wow3 and so on... As i do the majority of stuff through bindings and have 3 thick windows in width at one point, it becomes a pain rolling the mouse over multiple windows (each focusing) before i get to my target.

I hope I have explained myself clear enough for both ideas and any questions / clarifications - Just feel free to ask.

yes, the specific format of the command line is:

    <[nickname:]command>[;<[nickname:]command>]

    ie:

    wow1;wow2;wow3

this would run 3 commands on the local machine. if you want to also run 2 others on other machines, nicknamed 'B' and 'C' in keyclone/setup/general, then you'd do this:

    B:wow4;C:wow5;wow1;wow2;wow3

(i recommend putting the remote commands before the locals)

as for a hotkey per region, something like that is planned for january

    i hope this helps

Figure I'll add this onto another post about Keyclone suggestions.

I really like the round-robin feature, however there is 1 thing I'm wondering if you would consider. Somehow allow there to be a reset timeout feature, similar to how castsequence has a reset=(X seconds) parameter. I'm mainly using round-robin for frost nova, and since i have 2 mages on AF and 1 as lead while questing it's nice to know which mage will be novaing.

Example: I could set a 30 second reset on my "5" key round-robin, so I could frost nova on lead, then again on an alt right after. 3 mobs later after 30 seconds have passed the lead will be the first to receive the "5" key, not the 2nd alt.

Great program though, makes my life so much easier. Great support too

I think putting timings in like the ones you suggested would be in a very grey area as far as botting is concerned. I don't want to sound like an alarmist troll but Keyclone saves us all a ton of money in true hardware costs and I could see a feature like that being easily abused.

It is something you can do with macros in wow already though.

    /castsequence reset=30 Frost Nova,,
    /castsequence reset=30 ,Frost Nova,
    /castsequence reset=30 ,,Frost Nova

well....as this post suggests, I would like to ask for a specific addition to keyclone.

Would like to see something besides SOUND for the PAUSE feature.

I have used a 3rd party program called TEAMSPEAK OVERLAY. TSO puts the information on top of the screen you are in at the moment. Will do this even if your within a game at the time.

I am wondering why this cannot be done considering how many AddOns we have out there that change the interface all the time.

I am not suggesting that keyclone mess with the UI of WOW but only add some TEXT information on TOP of the game screen. Instead of SOUND for PAUSE...make it so a TEXT MSG shows on the screen that can be moved and anchored to the screen.

many people run their wows without a titlebar... so there is nowhere to put any text... unless its overlayed onto the game screen like the 'Mute' default text is. you can configure this a bit... check out the setup/override settings for more options.

if you don't like the default sound, you can change it... check out setup/sound events

btw... if ANYONE has a better set of sounds, please... please drop me a link to the wav files. i look for short soft sounds that work as reminders and don't make you jump out of your skin.

Oh damn, good idea. I will set that up later tonight. I do realize how awesome of a deal we get on Keyclone, I retract my suggestion in favor of using in-game macros to do the same thing!

Continuing the trend and adding into this thread as to not make 500 of them :/

I wondered if it is possible to create "groups" within the override facility.

Personally I try to play my 5man team as effectively as possible and this means controlling various actions more finely than most.

I have what I classify as three groups, my healer, my main dps and my dps slaves.

I would love to be able to set my dps slaves as a group and at times stop sending signals to both my healer and main dps whilst all 3 slaves receive it. I hope that is clear, if not I'll try again in a reply to your response.

I appreciate you can "lock keys" or bind the 3 slaves to different bindings as the other characters but I think the feature would be useful. Generally speaking I believe Keyclone is designed to remove the hardware costs and as such *using one keyboard* limits the amount of keys a user has to bind.

Therefore being able to have various groups (locking and unlocking various windows) would be nice.

I appreciate this post isn't that well written but I'm trying to explain my reasons for the feature rather than just what I'm suggesting.

    Thank you for your time

Really want something like this TBH, mainly so I can see which client the RR is going to next (current). Having a key that would reset RR would just make this even better. Just a simple overlay pattern that has a box for each client detected, the client recieving the RR keypress next has the box filled in the others don't. Perhaps have the option to show it vertically or horizontally.
