Hey guys.
Is it possible to multibox multiple Dungeons at the same time?
For example,you have 4 mages or paladins,and while they are not in group,you enter EG Stratholme with all 4 and play 4 Stratholmes at the same time with one keyboard?
Or for example multiboxing 4 different chars on 4 different servers?
Sort of, but I don't see how it would work out well.
Pretty much, we have one toon which leads.
The other toons have some form of follow.
If they are in separate places or servers.
We can push forward on the keyboard, and have all the toons move forward.
But you might need to turn left on one, and right on another.
You can move your mouse to the active window or PiP swam to micro manage one at a time.
But that isnt' too efficient or quick.
Similarly, spells or abilities are set up.
So the main does something, and the alts/slaves do the same or something different, but on the same keybind.
They usually assist the active window.
But if the active window is on another server or in a different instance.
Well that's not going to work too well.
I suppose it's possible, but not really feasible. The whole reason we need /follow is because after turning/walking your characters slowly start to get out of sync due to latency. If you had, for example, 5 shaman and wanted to run 5 simultaneous baron runs for the mount, you could do them all at the same time but you'd be constantly re-aligning them so they're facing the same general direction.
I have. It's possible, but not recommendable.
Unless you're a total loot whore and want to run Vault separately/simultaneously on all your toons and you don't care about your performance, then its really not worth it.
I thought you were talking about running five five man teams at the same time and if that was the case I was going to report you to the government for being a cyborg :P
