Honestly, I can only recommend that you "stand-by" for now. I do not believe that Frogster has made any final decisions on it, while the GM's are trigger happy. It is important to know that the GTM (volunteer "non-GM's"; aka tattle-tales) are not employed and do not represent Frogster. They can only report you to a GM. If you run into one of these, don't bother making an argument. There is nothing to gain. All of their comments on "multi-boxing/clienting" have been removed from the forums. The fact that their posts have been removed means a power higher-up disagrees with their interpretation.
Another important fact - "Runes of Magic" is sort of like a franchise. Runewalker Entertainment Ltd. designed and developed the game. Each developer "funds" the game (either time and/or money) with a stakeholder position in the profits.
Frogster Interactive licenses, operates and markets online games. They have several, independent, branches (US, German, Korea, etc...). They have about 80-ish staff members in all fields (marketing, PR, web design, web development, community management, customer support, hosting, billing and administration). They were founded in 2005.
My reason for bringing this up is because it points out that the two are not the same. Since Frogster hosts the game, they set the rules (ToS/EULA). When they make a bad decision, it can cause Runewalker to lose out on a lot of money (royalties). When they have volunteer "staff" providing an "official" response, things get even worse.
I strongly believe the recent ToS change was to impact gold-farmers and not the genuine multi-boxers. It may take some time, but I think they will word it a little differently.
