I don't like the whole vehicle thing.
I'd rather play my class or classes, then push the 1-5 relevant buttons on a vehicle.
Blizzard is experimenting, Leviathon in Ulduar, vehicles throughout this expansion, mounted knights etc.
I hope they move away from this.
I pick a rogue, or shammy, or paladin, or druid etc.
To have hots, heroism, lightning bolt, holy shield etc.
I'd rather play my class, then be a tank, helicopter, mounted knight/horse etc.
Couldnt have put it better myself
Blizz should dropp that car theme they have going now and let us play the game how we want it
I used to hate the vehicles now, and certainly don't enjoy them in a raiding atmosphere, but I'm now liking their use in PvP. As long as Blizzard keeps it so less than 25% of the players in a BG actually use the vehicles, and the rest of the players continue healing/DPSing like normal, then I welcome the change. It certainly sucks to have your team plowed by a vehicle, but there's also satisfaction when your team alone takes one out.

I felt the same way about questing in WoW for the longest time, still do in fact but it's aliviated by the Questhelper addons ect.
Why would I want to run around in a game 80% of the time instead of utilizing my character and it's abilities? Anyway, my sisters BF got me into wow purely to test out HKN and now Innerspace and I'm actualy having a good time, but without the questhelper I would have quit(again) a long time ago.
So, I'm not looking forward to these vehicles at all, honestly I dont get why they would have them in the game to begin with - same with the chopper mount, like WTF?
Blizzard is experimenting.
At the moment, the vehicle system is very simplistic.
It is incredibly easy to defeat Flame Leviathon in Ulduar 10 or 25.
I believe with this current patch, vehicles will scale (become better) based on average item level of gear.
So, Blizz will be able to introduce more difficult combats, which will require previous gearing to be successful.
They can have a boss that hits for hundreds of millions, and vehicles which have billions of health, if they want to have a "big numbers" fight. Relative damage to health, is the same as if everyone had 100 health maximum or 30k health.
It's different options for them.
I suppose, your healer toon gets a chance to dps in a vehicle etc.
I personally don't like this direction.
