What to do while waiting for Arenas?

It can take hours for arenas to pop and chances are if you're doing arenas you want PvP gear but you can't farm honor while queued for arenas and you're bored to tears of farming heroics, what can you do? Don't say tradeskills either.. ugh.

If it takes you hours for your arena matches to pop I would find another time to play or transfer servers. It should not take that long

That is a fairly long wait. What is your ranking? I hear the higher your ranking the longer it takes as the pool of victims is smaller.

All the servers I've been on are instant ques.. Skullcrusher, haomorush, kel thuzzad ect

Personally I sit in my chair and try to control my nervous shaking(first game of the night at least, but then again... I take arena too seriously :P

I avoid long waits by only doing arenas on Friday or Tuesday evenings. Tuesday gives me the shortest wait because people are always trying to cram the last few games in to get their ten before the end of the arena week.

When I DO have to wait, I either quest or instance. If you've had enough of doing both of those then you're pretty much SoL and you'd be better of putting a movie on, with one eye on the screen

I've never really understood why Bliz won't let us queue for BGs whilst waiting for an arena to pop, though
