    Default Equipment damage while boosting

I am back from a hiatus and have started a new group of 4. I am boosting 4 shamans with a level 80 druid. We are in deadmines now but I noticed after I pulled all the npc's from the entrance to the first boss that I took 10-15% equipment damage. I do not remember taking anywhere near this much the last time I did this.

How do you compensate for that much damage? After 4-5 runs I had to repair which cost 60G.

I have noticed this as well at times and got cost prohibitive when I used a prot paladin to pull a lot of BRD boosting characters. I believe its a function of time spent in combat and amount of spells and abilities that your targeted with (resists, misses, dodges count). But yes those BRD runs were the same as a 5 man BWL run it seems costs wise.

I might look at loading up on cheap green stamina armor and see how that works out repair wise. The druid is so nice for boosting but if this does not work I will bust out the mage and just shield up but I would not be able to pull near as much.

I'd just eat the repair cost and do it the fastest way possible.. that's kind of the entire point of boosting. once you're 80 on 5 toons you can farm all that back in 1 day

The cost didnt bother me as much as my shield always breaking to soon on the pally. Started keeping a spare hehe.

I will have to see how it pans out. 5 runs cost 60G. 5 runs an hour........

I will still pick up the green stamina gear despite how much equipment damage they do to my gear I never get below 95% health.

On my prot pally I noticed massive amounts of shield damage after each run. My method was to grab a couple of grey, trash shields with decent block ratings, and just repair them on the cheap.

What I did was made about 10 of these for 4 cobalt ore a pop. www.wowhead.com/?item=Cobalt Triangle Shield

It was cheaper to make and toss them when they broke than to repair my big epic shield over and over.

I solved my issue for DM at least. Like an idiot there was one obvious solution I did not try. I run it naked.... I only take a few percent more damage.

I would think I would be able to pull this off in SM.. i will have to try it when I get there.
