Thinking about Tour Guide in general now, how much need would there be for a "Outland" MB guide? Then a Northrend Guide? We have talked about it, so is there alot of people that would use it or can you just use the game to lead you.

I believe theres is a need, After all once we reach 60, we certainly want to get to 70 and then 80, admittedly BC, and LK was made to be a bit more Friendly, where group quest and turn-ins are concerned, however there are still quests that should be avoided, for MBing, also if we as a community could come together to help, this would give the guides versatility depending on what factions yet still offer very viable routs for MB leveling.
The Outland version won't be as bad as Tekkub has some guides made. The LK part will take more effort starting from nothing. I am working on RAF section now while I have a RAF account going. I am willing to help and will host anything we come up with.

Tekkub has LK Guides made, but we will have to modify them for RAF,
I think we should do the guides in a mater that will not require Overwriting the Tekkubs but allow us to pick RAF and allow a sub catagory like the daily guides do, or midsummer Festvial ones as examples.
I have submited many zone's to Tekhub over the last few years, befor getting into MB so I am willing to help.
I looked today and sae nothing about Northrend zones, if you know of any, please share.
Guides for certain things like dailies or special occasions would be great.
The RAF guide that were posted are good, just not complete and really should be pared down. Anything you have done, I would like to share with the group.

I sent you a private message with some links [I sent it private so as not to confuse people thinking these were ready for MB and RAF]
Now I recently started editing the files so we could supply a fork thus we would no longer have to over write Tek's we would just have to add our s to the addon folder and from the tour guide frame be allowed to choice our guides to follow.
That said I really see a need for two guides in this project a MB Guide and a RAF guide, of course at present RAF would only require 1-60,
Reason I see a MB guide to 1-60 as well, well for completeness really, There are some that simply already have multiple accounts and RAF is not an option but still wish to level a new team to 80. and with the experiance differeance theses really become 2 guides from 1-60 anyway , and can merge from 60-70 and 70-80.
Let me know what you think.
I have reworked the framework of the RAF Guides Allcattle has been hosting and placed alliance in one file and Horde in another.
Now in the new framework you just download the rar file place TourGuide_RAF_Alliance or TourGuide_RAF_Horde folder in the wow AddOns directory and activate it in wow [it comes deactivated by defualt] and it will now allow selection of the RAF guides toward the bottom of TourGuide guide selection. there is no longer any need to overwrite default Guides.
Now that the new Framework is in-place I will be working on Multi-box guides from 60-70 and 70-80 for both Alliance and Horde I also plan to revisit the RAF Guides and rework some of the guides and Zones to give a bit more flexibility.
I also plan to eventually do 1-60 Multi-box guides without RAF for completeness [Though the later probably will not be added till after Cataclysm] but will depend on how fast the other projects are completed.
I have stated I believe this should be a community project so I will be accepting input, suggestions for improvement as well as help and files.

The 60 to 70 process will be a lot easier, with a 30% reduction in exp per level.
Not sure if collections can be entirely avoided here or not.
Or at least the painful ones skipped.
I don't believe we can level from 70 to 80, via quests and avoid all collections.
However, some collections are less painful then others.
Especially if every member of the team, via Interact, can loot an item.
It will probably be a rather large project to put together a 70-80 progression.
One which is boxing friendly, I mean.
There are a few guides for 70-80 out there, but they're from a one-box perspective.

I agree it will be a large project but one I think there is a need for. and I have submitted many a zone for Tek back in the day.
I agree I am not yet sure if all Collection quests can be avoided but we certainly can avoid the worst ones.
Of course the more people that can submit data based on there perfered questing routs the more we can add.
I will throw up some data probably tomarrow on how to record data and how to submit it for those who wish to help.
I followed a fairly strong 1x boxing quest stacking guide.
And the pace was impressive.
Running the same route with 5x boxing.
Well, a lot of the collections really sucked.
This would be a very worthwhile resource to have.
And the more people who contribute to it, the quicker it will be available.
Plus one person isn't stuck with the whole thing.
