60-70 with a slow flyer is sooooo easy now!! I ran a DK solo through HF, part of Zangermarsh and part of Nagrand and he was at 68 and high enough to mine Cobalt. Guide should be cake even without the 30 zeppelin parts![]()

Depends on the group which quests are good/bad. For example my 5Xdruids in flight form loved the collection quests where you pick stuff off the groud as you dont need to shift to pick them up. I was able to do 60-80 without any collection quests that required you to kill someone first (except for the buzzards I chose to do them as there are several great aoe spots)
With the new framework that I added, what I would like to see.
For those that would like to help.
I would like to see members submit in a tourguide format Completed zone info edited for Multi-boxing
An example would be Horde Eversong Woods (1-13)
I think we should try where possible to have no collection quests, were that is not practical
I would like to limit Collection quests to those friendly to groups thus when item drop everyone in group can get orat very least to where drop rate is Good with abundance of Mobs so quests can be done quickly.(I would like to see that limited to 10 or under)
However use best judgement as we can always edit it later as more people test it and give feedback.
Two ways to submit a Zone or guide is to go in and edit an existing tourguide zone info or submitting a TourGuide Recorder by emailing the savedvariables it creates. to the email under the Multi Boxing RAF 1-60 Leveling Guide Readme_Contributing file.
you can also download the NuzzTourGuideEditorWOTLK I will be putting that up for download as well
I can be reached here via PM as well as the email provided under the read-me file.
I am looking forward to working with the comunity to making these guides the best they can be.

First, I'm very new to Dual Boxing (um, 2 days!), so I want to start by saying thanks to all the experienced folks out there on this site for all the work, and information.
This thread (and others) are great, but get a bit fragmented and confusing. For quick clarification,
The 'staples' I use today for dual boxing are: Jamba and GCP.
To aid in questing I use: TomTom, QuestHelper, Lightheaded, Tourguide (+ James Guides), ...etc.
If I'm reading all the posts right, the recommended quest addons set-up would simply be :
Carbonite and Tourguide( + Aragent's one file Alliance Guide). (I'll still use Lightheaded as I like some of the tips at a glance)
Does this sound right? (I'm assuming a TomTom like arrow is built into Carbonite)
Thanks again to all!
Edit: Wow - I forgot I attempted dual boxing back in April '08. LOL - was surprised to see this is my '4th' post to this site.
Thought I had just signed up on this site last week....guess I'm getting easily confused in my old age!
First let me say welcome aboard.
I don't personally use Carbonite but have heard great things about it [I use a modified version of Metamap that I have maintained for years] But yes From what I know Carbonite is a multifunction addon that enhances map features and quest ui.
But in this instance yes would replace tomtom
Basicly there are choices to achieve the same goals
Questhelper [shows you the closest quest that you currently have] helpful to have for quests you take that are not in the Levleling guide (and once you are 80)
Tourguide is more like the typical leveling guide [like James for instance] that will show you what order to take quest and tell you what one you should take next.
Lightheaded is recommended as it provides the wowhead database info and helps give coordinates to Tourguide.
James Guides nice set of guides for 1-80 but geared to solo play, Great for those times your just leveling one character and for those levels we are still working on for our project.
Multi-box RAF 1-70 guide is geared to wows Recruit a friend (3X eperiance) with limited Collection quests)
we will be working on 60-80 guides as well as 1-60 Multiboxing guide the deference between the RAF 1-60 guide and the future Multibox 1-60 Guide in a nut shell is Multi box will be geared to leveling without the 3x experience boost where the RAF is if you take that rout to 60.
the current RAF 1-60 guide does not yet allow much versatility in the path taken to reach 60 (its a work in progress.
Currently the only difference between the File I host and alcattle is mine does not overwrite other tourguide files thus you can have it and the default Tourguide files and James tourguide files.
will there be differences in the future that remains to be seen.
I hope this helps in answering your questions and help you in making your choices
updated some of the Allies starting areas and added Westfall 12-18 so please try these out and let me know if they work for you. Still need to do the NE start.

Ok, so after wasting 18 hours to only hit level 18 on 2 druids using this guide, I have come to conclusion that the original guide works alot faster. I tried this guide and the original on 2 druids with the exact same build, exact same play time and suprise suprise, the original gave me a level of 24 in 18 hours and this one only gave me a level of 18 in 18 hours. I hate to say it but I doubt this guide is any real use to anybody looking to use the RaF bonus.
These guides are being refined as we go along however with just dual boxing you don't receive the full benefit of the guides the guides start to shine the more toons being played as they cut down on a lot of the collection quests.
so 3 and 5 boxers will see a greater increase as they dont have to take the extra time to collect 50+ of some item for turn ins.
so they can just keep move along from one quest to the and thus will see the greatest benefit.
Also, second time through the area, you will go faster no matter what guide you use. after leveling 50 toons you know them by heart.
