#6 QuestAnnouncer (Lets me see that all my slaves didn't skip anything by reporting in party chat their quest progression.) (QuestAnnouncer is inside "QuestGuru" you just need to turn it on.)
I wondering if someone could give me a little direction on how to turn on QuestAnnouncer? I've been looking around for a couple of days now and really have not been able to find it.

    Thanks.

Sorry, I used Quest Guru the first RAF and never since. Carbonite and Jamba is all the add-ons needed. Fire up your Key-program and you are set. Well I guess you would also need Tour Guide (dah) but all the others that are in the first "manual" are not as good.
For the RAF files, I am still sifting through the horde starting section. Darn RAF is too good, you level through guide faster than it allows.
Also thinking of going back to 1 file for each faction, would save a couple steps. Thoughts?
RAF Tour Guide files are obsolete, I went to Zygor

First, I'm very new to Dual Boxing (um, 2 days! ), so I want to start by saying thanks to all the experienced folks out there on this site for all the work, and information.

This thread (and others) are great, but get a bit fragmented and confusing. For quick clarification,
The 'staples' I use today for dual boxing are: Jamba and GCP.

To aid in questing I use:
TomTom, QuestHelper, Lightheaded, Tourguide (+ James Guides), ...etc.

If I'm reading all the posts right, the recommended quest addons set-up would simply be :
Carbonite and Tourguide( + Aragent's one file Alliance Guide). (I'll still use Lightheaded as I like some of the tips at a glance)

Does this sound right? (I'm assuming a TomTom like arrow is built into Carbonite)

    Thanks again to all!

Edit: Wow - I forgot I attempted dual boxing back in April '08. LOL - was surprised to see this is my '4th' post to this site.
Thought I had just signed up on this site last week....guess I'm getting easily confused in my old age!

I'm so lost on this. I'm surely missing something obvious, but I can't find the answer anywhere.
I download guides. I delete the default ones. I load in the special 1-60 RAF ones.
After that, I have my tomtom and QH and lightheaded and everything up. My question is:

How do I get it so the quests I DON'T have yet (from Tourguide) show up on the map?

Knowing that there's an NPC in Dustwallow Marsh or Feralas that I'm supposed to find and talk to because they may or may not have a quest isn't a jump in convenience for me, yet. I know that once I have the quest I can track that NPC, but before it'd be nice to be able to have the quest giver show up on my big map/minimap. Or at least let me somehow get the tourguide information without typing it in manually for every single quest.

Quest Helper only shows Quests you have gotten on the map, so no help. Lightheaded should show coordinates for the NPC.
I use Carbonite which works with Tourguide better, as the next thing on the list (TG) shows up on the Carbonite arrow.

Better than TomTom as it also only shows the quests you already have and then the closest not the next on the list.
RAF Tour Guide files are obsolete, I went to Zygor

    Alcattle,
God, how rude of me. I didn't look and see how many hundreds of posts you've made answering our questions, plus agreeing to host the files in the first place.
Thank you. I should say that before I say a single other word.
Didn't mean to dump another on you - thank you for taking the time to answer once again. Thank you for putting all that love into this project.

    Hi folks,
Quick question. Lately I have been experiencing a new phenom, having to run quests multiple time to get credit for each toon. Specifically the "Free at last" & "Protect Kanati Grycloud".

Has something in WoW changed that now requires us to do these quests solo or is there a trick to accepting them thatI am missing. What I have been doing is opening up the quest window on each toon and accepting the quest. should I only be opening the quest with the leader and sharing it after?

Starting to get frustrating as other quests work fine, just the escort and protection quests.

Currently using Jamba, Tourguide, Carbonite & TomTom. 4x accounts on one machine
