Horde gets the crappy goblin model and Alliance gets a shape shifting cool-arse model worgen?

    Ouch, that sucks imho.

Would LOVE to have a Tauren Pally but won't want to level that up. Can you do race/gender changes? Might switch my female BE pally to male Tauren pally and my Tauren shaman to an orc as I don't have that race currently.

Very cool stuff in that spoiler. Thanks for posting.

I doubt it a lot. I can't get past the claim that two new mask textures in time for an event that will not yet have two new races, means we must be getting two new races. Those mask textures would be for an event fourteen months away at minimum! So why add them now? The dude who concludes playable Worgen and Goblins from Hallow's End masks, does not seem to have reliable sources.

I am so making my paladin into an orc. Now, can I have a goblin druid so I can see around my boomkin's over-fluffed ass?

I'm just so damn excited about Azeroth getting a revamp and "Old-World Flying" as I call it. Way too damn much unused space in the oldworld continents, but time they do something about that. Just hope that when flying straight from Booty Bay to Ghostlands, I don't fly into any invisible walls in the sky, I'd feel like a pigeon flying into a skyscraper :/

    From WOWOracle.com:

Hey Osaarians! I just got back from a long meeting with two of my best sources, both of whom have given me oodles of 100% accurate inside World of Warcraft information in the past, but decided to one-up themselves by delivering a truckload of amazing WoW secrets that Blizzard doesn't want you to know yet! Obviously I'm duty-bound not to reveal the names of these sources, because one is the head producer of World of Warcraft and the other is Activision's Vice-President of Marketing, so they could get into a lot of trouble if we're not discreet! Listen in as we reveal:

WORLD OF WARCRAFT: THE SUNDERING OF OBLIVION! That's right, WoW:SO is the next expansion, and it's coming Q1-Q2 2010.

    New Leveling System:
WoW:SO will, as rumored, raise the level cap to 85. What you haven't heard is, there are twelve new levels between 80 and 85! That's right, Blizzard decided that they want to cram even more adventure into the short space of time leading up to the big 100, so WoW:SO will introduce the new Fractional Leveling System. You level from 80 to 80 1/2, then on to 81, and then 81 1/2, and so on, until 84. Then you level in thirds: 84 1/3, 84 2/3, until finally you hit the new cap at 85. But wait, didn't I just reveal that WoW:SO will have twelve new levels? This is the amazing part: once you reach 85, you get to level to 85 again. It's like a free level! This is a major change, but don't worry, you'll get new spells and talent points at each fractional level just like before! But that's not all: starting at level 81 1/2, every full level you will automatically be eligible to buy one of the new level mounts.

    Level Mounts:
Did I say level mounts? I believe I did! I only know of three, and can only imagine the coolness yet to be revealed. Slither into battle on your new Lava Worm! Leap at the foe astride the vicious Shadow Frog! Defy gravity on the sticky feet of the Mecharantula! With the new level mounts, you'll have that Mountain O' Mounts before you know it.

    Revamped Unarmed Combat:
Because YOU demanded it, WoW:SO will feature a completely new system of unarmed combat that will make even the most battle-hardened pugilist gasp at the brutality of it all! Three new martial arts fighting styles and knockout blows are on their way. All classes can learn any of the three unarmed fighting styles -- Pandaran Limb-Bouncing, Ogric Smashuku and The Dark Mambo -- but only Warriors, Rogues, and another one (wait for it!) will be able to raise their martial arts skills to Master level. Martial arts allow you to deliver floating kicks, vicious hammer blows, dainty nerve-pokes and spinning Zeppelinkicken with bone-shattering force ... all with the chance of an incapacitating knockout, during which short time the victim's pockets can be rifled for loot, just like a rogue's pickpocketing skill!

    Class-Based Profession Animations:
I've been waiting for this for a long time! Now your profession animations are completely class-based. Mages blast chunks of metal out of the ground with torrents of arcane force! Priests demand that valuable herbs uproot themselves with the power of will alone! Rogues mix poisons with their very own hands!

    New Class!!!!:
To all you doubters, I hope you're feeling properly shame-faced right about now, because the Osaarian Oracle was RIGHT! Yep, the new class is official, and it's the MYRMIDON! From the dusty wind-swept fields of carnage, the blood-soaked arenas and the stygian dungeons of Azeroth comes the Myrmidon, master of battle. A plate-wearer who can wield all weapon types, the Myrmidon fills many battlefield roles. He can be a slow-hitting but monstrously powerful brute in PvP. Or he can take up two weapons at once, becoming a hacking, slashing whirlwind of steel! Or when the situation demands, he can strap on his sturdy shield and wade into the fray as a nigh-indestructible tank. The Myrmidon comes with a brand new energy mechanic, called Wrath. When he hits a foe, or is hit himself, he generates small amounts of Wrath that he can use to unleash destruction! Stay tuned as information about this exciting new class develops!

    No New Races
Sorry guys, there are no new races in WoW:SO ... but with so much else going on, I doubt you'll even notice!

Well that's it for now! Keep watching this site for more incredible information about the new WoW expansion, The Sundering of Oblivion! And remember: it's all true!!!

God I hope this part is a joke. Fractional Leveling System!? And wth does 100 have to be the end level cap? I don't ever remember the RPG Gods ever setting this in stone for us to abide by. It's like pointing at the moon and telling someone that stepping on it can not and shall not be done.

But will the original Vanilla-WoW content be gone for good?

    or

Will they expand on the Phasing concept and make 1-78(maybe80) Vanilla-Wow, and then move you into the Phased-Azeroth for 81-85??

Seems odd they would totally kill off the old world. Especially for people who come to the game late, and havent played through the old Azeroth all the way yet.

Just a bit to think about.

Sounds pretty damn amazing. If it isn't real, the person who formulated should probably go work for Blizzard.

IME, as games progress the old world zones get changed and the newbie levelling areas get concentrated. So, it's likely they will make 1-60 even easier and shrink down the zones you need to level in. Afterall, vanilla wow is HUGE. Although, it would be a shame to lose all those quests they developed.
