Welcome, well that kind of sucks your raf isnt set but have no fear. It's not *that* bad .
If you don't like the realm your on, I would for sure make new characters. That would be the best thing.

    - FTL setup is not the easiest thing to get configured, while your leveling I would say just go with an /assist or /assist focus type thing. Theres alot you will have to add as you go on, so I would get used to playing multiple people and worry about FTL later.

    If your doing 4 shaman

Take a look at our software. Its designed to avoid the need to learn macros and FTL.

    Consider calling Blizzard.
Let them know you messed up and did not do RAF.
And that you have just created five accounts.
Ask if they can help you.
    Be polite.
Worst case scenario, they cannot improve your situation.
But blizzard as a company rocks, and they might help you out.
It's in their long term interest to keep you happy for many years.

Your toons are relatively low level now.
You can create new toons on any faction and on any server.
You are not stuck playing against Prepared or anyone else.
There are multiboxing friendly servers, with several boxers.
Both horde side and alliance side servers.

You'll definitely want some form of FTL if your primary goal is pvp.
FTL stands for Focus Free, Target Free, Leader Free.

The simplest assist method is to use Focus.
Every toon focuses the current active toon.
    Every toon follows the focus.
Every toon casts at the focus's target.
You no longer have the option to use focus for other things.

The leader system is broken in pvp, since 3.1.
You cannot control which group your toons are in.
The BG leader can only move toons from their own server.
So you might have all your toons moved into the same group if you're the BG leader (5 in 40 chance), or if they'll promote you.
If they're from another server they cannot move your toons even if they want to.
Even if you're promoted to leader, you'd need a group which is entirely empty, since you cannot move toons out of a group which are not from your own server.

The Target system works fine, just like the focus system.
Every toon targets the active toon, via a Big Button.
The big button is a predetermined order.
Only the earliest toon in that order can control the others.
Melee and Hunters assist; others cast at "target=targettarget".
Focus is free, but you cannot control the group from any toon at any time.

I believe manually creating your own FTL system is possible with each of the software options.
Keyclone is probably the easiest boxing program to set up.
I know the FTL is not easy to set up within keyclone.
ISBoxer with ISBoxer Toolkit has a wizard, which makes the set up of FTL very easy.
I've not used or investigated HKN or AHK or Octopus, Game Commander Pro.
Assuming you're not hardware boxing, you'll want a software boxing program.
