Default Macrosequencer (a macro to call a sequence of macros)

This is a mod by Cogswheel which lets you make a macro that calls other macros in a sequence. With all the changes to /castrandom and who knows what else this might be timely. I havn't got it to work but maybe someone else has been using it and can tell us their results:

Have you ever wanted to sequence arbitrary macro commands instead of just spells and items? Now's your chance! MacroSequence reproduces most of /castsequence's functionality but instead of individual spells or items, each element in the sequence can be an entire macro. There are only two missing behaviors of /castsequence: reset on target change (impossible to do with current state headers) and holding position if an action fails (something many people don't like about /castsequence anyway).

In addition to its sequencing, the macros can be of unlimited length. This makes MacroSequence a contender as an extended macro addon.

To create sequences, you need to edit a table in Sequences.lua, though I've tried to make this very simple. Here is the documentation comment at the beginning of that file:

An addon that's designed to circumvent a Macro and UI change? Sounds like it's asking for unwanted attention from Blizzard.

and asking your average user to "To create sequences, you need to edit a table in Sequences.lua"

    That's just laughable.

I kinda agree with blizzard on this one, if you're just blindly spamming buttons, you should have some penalty (not being able to do the "best" dps / tank / heal, get caught on CDs, etc)

You shouldn't be able to faceroll, there's enough of that already. I use click macros, and it works reasonably well. I could still do more DPS if I was running a proper rotation / watching cooldowns closer, but that's just the nature of what we do. If you just want to facroll 2038203820832083 shaman, then more power to you, but I think you're definetely the minority here.

Its sort of like the <3.1 castrandom effect in that it doesnt care about outcomes of spells or 'position in the castsequence'.

So seeding your array with extra higher value spells is pushed.

This addon has been out for ages. I remember looking at it before the expansion came out (and deciding I wasn't going to start editing LUA files).

Cogwheel (the author) is one of the MVP 'green' posters on the UI and Macros forums. He knows his stuff.

Not saying this addon doesn't skirt the bounds of the ToS, just want to give some more info about it.
