Not to worried about any of it... except /follow. I am sure we will all figure out a way to play with whatever Blizz decides to fix/change.

But then again it seems to limit people to just that the 1 spell throwing class, which in all honesty is just not fun, really what is the point in having any other spell if in the end you will just toss frostbolt or lightning bolt?

And technically the comas are allowing you to put in a /wait like they had in FFXI which technically is not really allowed in WoW.

The comma's function like a pause, if you time how many comma's to include based on your mash speed.

But its a far cry from something like say.... One button press:

    /Cast Insect Swarm
    - Wait 2 Seconds -
    /Cast Moonfire
    - Wait 2 Seconds -
    /Cast Wrath
    - Wait 2 Seconds -
    /Cast Wrath
    - Wait 2 Seconds -
    /Cast Wrath
    - Wait 2 Seconds -
    /Cast Wrath
    - Wait 2 Seconds -
    /Cast Wrath
    - Wait 2 Seconds -
    /Cast Wrath
    - Wait 2 Seconds -
    /Cast Insect Swarm

The G15 keyboard can be set to click a button, wait so many milliseconds, press another or the same button, etc. That's a true use of a "/wait" command.

The G15 could allow for a decent BOT program, if you took the time to configure it properly.

The comma's in a castsequence only fire off at the pace that we click them.
That's a pretty big difference from a "Wait" command.

Even if they were to remove Cast Random, Cast Sequences etc.

As long as the macro system allows us to assist in some form.

We could have Flame Shock on 1, Lava Burst on 2, Lightning Bolt on 3.
    Pally 96969 functions on 4 through 9.

You wouldn't be reduced to a single spell or even a couple.

If they take out any form of assist, other then manually clicking (or Tabbing) on a mob.
Or if they take out follow completely.
Either of these would basically break boxing.
If that were the case, there are other games.
IMO, wow is the best currently available; if they broke boxing I wouldn't continue with wow.

Well you could use vent or raid target icons instead of assist for raids - would force some raiders to actually pay attention to what's going on

That reminds me of doing Emalon and the raid leader kicking the OT because he died too fast. The RL was a druid with 54k health and she(he?) tanked all mobs and we still wiped because the dps wouldnt switch to the enraged add. RL finally figured out what those goons needed was her to switch her target to the enraged add until it was dead. Talk about brain dead dps.

Technically, it's not the commas, it's the action or rather lack thereof in between. The commas do not do anything other than seperate items in a list. For our uses, it seperates the nothings. /castsequence spell1, spell2,,,,,,,,,,,,,, does not say "cast spell1, then cast spell2, then wait x seconds." It says "cast spell1, then cast spell2, then cast , then cast , then cast , then cast,...." They have no means to measure time, events or other variables. They only respond to the input we give, which is the keypress.

If we're playing the sky is falling game, I'd be more prone to say that they're going to kill reset conditionals because a macro shouldn't be able to decide when to reset.

But yeah, in EQII, macroing is not even remotely as customizable as it is in WoW and we are still fully capable of creating macros that are intricate enough to multibox full teams. There are no resets, no modifiers, no conditionals. EQII Macro Guide Intro and EQII Macros and Cast Priority. It's archaic compared to WoW's macro system. There's /follow, the ability to string spells together in a pre-defined order, the ability to designate a target and that's about it. And that's all you need to multibox. I certainly hope they don't make any changes like that to WoW, it would make my multi-class teams a nightmare to work with, but still doable.
