Well.. the maximizer feature is most likely dead before it even arrive. I can find no public APIs that give me the ability to scale the windows of the application like is done in Exposé - that seems to be handled through a "special" connection to the window server which isn't publicly available.
The best I'll be able to do (without resorting to using internal APIs which I'm hesitant to do) is save the positioning of the windows. I had some cool ideas for window switching, but those will have to wait until Apple allows us developers to actually scale the windows arbitrarily or I figure out how to do it with what is already given to us. Maybe I'm wrong and there is a way to do it, but it's not looking good...
I'm a long time hardware boxer and I've just discovered this thread about Plexer. I've got a request: I use one mac and 4 pcs (because they're cheaper). So I could use the network support with the added hitch of crossplatform support. Right now I'm using a keybroadcasting version of a basic network software kvm called Synergy. (Ha! It's so old it's not even in the list of kvms even though a lot of people used it back in the day). Anyway, there's a pc client that the mac server can hook to as long as I call the mac by IP rather than "workgroup" or whatever dumb crap windows uses.
As an aside, has there been any major developments in something like this? I got back onto this line of investigation after seeing that awesome ISBoxer video Ellay posted on the front page and started searching the forums again after I wiped the drool up. I sure would like to clean up my 5 box setup since it's so ghetto.

Hi there, this is the first time I've tried multiboxing.
Have a mac running 10.5.8
Have two instances of wow setup.
Have configured plexer's preferences with 2 apps
Have enabled access for assistive devices
+++++++++++++
Initially, both toons were moving in opposite directions ... well if one master went forward, slave went right angled forward, etc.
So then I tried the blacklist and white list
I tried to put my arrow keys (up down left right) into the list, couldn't
So I put my Clear (run forward) key in. yes, that went in to the white list, but when i used it on first toon, then stopped, 2nd one kept going? This seemed to do the same thing for the slave.
+++++++++++++
I've checked all the notes, and there doesn't seem to be anything about this?
Can someone please advise on just how you use this program? I have the trial version at the moment. I just want to run my alts through quests with my main toon. So I'll only ever be dual-boxing.
TIA
Oh wait, tried using SHIFT+arrow direction key and that's worked. So now my directions are good!
Will test further.
/sigh now we're moving at right angles to each other again.
Looks like I'll need some advice after all.

Please update to the latest version of Plexer (1.0.5) - it was just published!
I forgot to add the arrow keys in the list of special characters that I need to handle specially when printing to the key list. Your arrow keys were in the list, you just couldn't actually tell as they were printed as an empty string.
That should fix your diagonal problems as you probably have some keys in there that you don't think you do.
Thanks for the feedback!
Not sure if it changes things, but the new 3.3 patch has changed something on allowed window sizes in OSX. I can now make my windows smaller than i used to be able to. Maybe this helps with the maximizer feature addition to plexer?
Fingers crossed.
I'll check it out... random sizing doesn't seem to work but I need to try a few other things.
I know window sizing is turning out to be a difficult feature to add.
I am wondering about window positioning. I'm not sure if this is a local thing or if all mac boxers face this, but on startup, all my wow windows stack up rather than remembering where they were last. Is there a way for plexer to resolve this issue?
