Introducing Plexer for Mac

Hi, im running on a MacBook Pro and as a mac user yourself you'll know that all the F keys are used, so my question is, can i set the toggle broadcasting key to a different key other that the F keys?

There's no supported way in the UI to do this, though you can try to manually set the com.kiadsoftware.plexer.ToggleBroadcastingKeyCode defaults setting to the keycode of your choice.

Will plexer support clickthroughs? I dualbox in windows using Octopus, and a huge feature is being able to assign (for instance) shift click to go through to the background copy of WoW.

I don't have any plans currently to implement that feature.

Just got back into Mboxing on my mac and was happy to find Plexer. Please enjoy my $25.

A few comments and feature requests. (sorry if these have been discussed previously)

1. Ability to add escape key to whitelist/blacklist keys
2. Growl notifications when broadcasting is enabled and disabled.
3. Button that would launch all programs currently under the plexer profile selected.

A much more beefy request is something that handled window resizing and layout. I'm not sure if the toold exist in the mac dev environment but this is one feature I'm wishing I had available in to me under mac tools.

@yeuquai I'm not sure if I'm interpreting your post incorrectly, but I think you were trying to use your movement keys to manually move both toons at all times. Typical multibox setup is one leader, and the rest slaves. Movement is typically handles by having all slaves /follow your leader. If I'm incorrect, diregard.

I'll look into adding #1 and #2. #3 might take more work than I want to put into it right now... the problem there is I'd want to have it position the windows correctly too and I'm not sure I want to invest the UI time for that at the moment.

@theBigBB... that's really strange. If you toggle plexing on/off does that fix the issue? Do you toggle plexing on/off frequently? I'm just trying to think what could go wrong in the code for that situation to occur... I'll play around with it and see if I can't come up with a way to prevent that from happening. Can't say I've seen it myself though.

OK... Plexer might be getting duplicate windows in the app list when you restart WoW after the crash. I might be able to fix that fairly easily.

Yeah, as soon as you told me the escape key doesn't work I knew what the problem was. I'll try and push a fix our this weekend.

Version 1.0.4 is out!

Fixed the issue with the escape key.
Fixed the issue with the space key (just a rendering problem, the key should have been there).
Potential fix for the crash issue.
