    Thumbs up

Is there a difference between the trial and paid versions? I certainly will buy this regardless. Clonekeys, while it did serve me ok, has too many problems with missed keystrokes. I am looking forward to this very much

I've come across some issues with the program, although it's still amazing and these issues are easy to work with.

I consistently see, after a long period of use, Plexer start sending some windows duplicate keystrokes. So I type in for everyone to do "/use hearthstone", and one of them will do "///uuussseee hhheeeaaarrrttthhhssstttooonnnee" instead. I close the program and reopen it. I'm just concerned that this will look like something illegal if someone from Blizzard ever saw it, besides the minor annoyance of restarting the program. It's not that big of a deal for actual playing at least.

Sounds like it caught the zombie plague from the Wrath launch.

Makes sense. Though from reading that reply in the thread I figured it wasn't the reason.

Don't know if I will purchase it. To be honest, the translucent black UI is a big turn off for me. And the always on top also. Is there any plans on making a standard UI for it, instead of the current one? Might have to play around with it just Dual Boxing to see how I like.

Thanks for Bringing some love to the Mac side of Boxing though. Needs it. Like one of the previous posters mentioned, would love to see a Mac maximizer.

    Keep up the work!!

To each his own. The black UI is somewhat standard, but I get what you're saying.

You can close the window and Plexer will still be in the background for your needs, but I can look into making the 'always on top' an option instead of forcing it.

I do have some plans on redoing some of the UI in a future version, though I don't really know the timeline when that will be done (definitely won't be in the short term).

Are there other reasons why you don't think you'll purchase it? I guess I should up the limit to three instead of two clients. I do know that I need to work on the website for it and get some getting started guides up there.

    Thanks for the input,
    David

    Red face

    Hello everyone

I'm totally new to Multi-boxing. Just today I've collected my 3 accounts, and am planning on lvling to DK's in multibox mode, so that they can later join my existing 80 DK main.

I've read a lot of beginners stuff on this site, but sadly most of the wiki links doesn't seem to work for me. That is why I am resorting to this topic, since I am working on a Mac Pro (quad core, GTX285).

So! I have installed Plexer and updated it. I have also turned on this:

So far so good I guess

After that, I started to link 2 different configurations to my WoW 1 and WoW 2.

I also did the same with WoW 2:

    I guess thats all good.

But now my trouble begins to start. I guess that's because of my lack of understanding this program (no offence intended to the creator, who obviously did a great job, the problem lies with my inability to understand things like this )

I cannot understand how the "Whitelist" and "Blacklist" seems to work. I could not find a guide or text about this on the forum, so ill ask it here .
What I think the White and Blacklist seem to do is: The blacklist makes sure which keys the program needs to ignore for the rest of the slaves. These are only inteded for the master (like typing in guild chat).

And I think with the whitelist you can set keys to WoW that covers the slave's and the master.

Again, I am not sure about this, this is me speculating.

Ofcourse I have tried to test this out with my 2 accounts running, but it does not seem to work. I made sure when doing this to turn Broadcasting on.

    --

Well, im pretty sure I am thinking the wrong way about this whole program. So my question basicly is, how does this program work? And mainly about how to connect the different wow accounts together so that they, my slaves, for example, strafe left while I am pushing that keybiding or macro on my Master.

Also I would like to see some examples you guys used in your Whitelist or Blacklist, I think that could get me started greatly.

I think if I get that to work, that ill be able to figure out the rest by just reading a lot of posts here with great addons and macro's and the like

I hope I've been clear in my question and did not ask the "noob" question.

Really would like to get this to work before the trial ends

    Thanks in advance!

    - Paus

    EDIT:

I've played some more with the Whitelist and Blacklist, and it seems that when I select and add keystrokes to a whitelist, it will also be automaticly on the Blacklist. Also, when I create a key on a blacklist, go to whitelist, and remove it from there, it will also be removed from the blacklist.
If my above reasoning was correct, then a "bug" like this might make it logical that I cant broadcast between WoW chars. Because if something is on the white and blacklist, it would just let it do nothing I asume.

A configuration is for a group of applications. So you need to add all three instances of WoW that you want to play in the Applications list (i.e. WoW 1, WoW 2, and WoW 3).

Keys will be broadcast to ONLY the applications in the list. Basically, you are using the configurations incorrectly. It's more for the setup of you have a two-team group that you want to use, so you make "My Two's Group". And then you have a five-team group and you make a config "My Five's Group".

Whitelist sends ONLY those keys to the other instances of the application.
Blackist sends all keys EXCEPT the keys listed to the other apps.

Note that 'k' and 'K' ARE different keys.

Hi, im running on a MacBook Pro and as a mac user yourself you'll know that all the F keys are used, so my question is, can i set the toggle broadcasting key to a different key other that the F keys?
    Thanks
