    Default Trinkets for pvp

    Hai!

Im having a realy hard time to decide what trinket to go for on my shamans, atm i use battle masters and titan forged rune of audacity for the spell power.

Would it be better in any way to switch these out for maby some resi trinkets or anything?
    Whats your setup and why?

I currently have the +spell power and remove effects trinket. I plan on getting the use to increase SP by around 500 for 10 seconds for burst (it has resil on it, too).

Yeah i was wondering if i should use that spell increase on use trinket or not..dont know what to do tbh. Burst is better anyway isnt it? i mean for arena its crucial to get one opponent down fast, and that leaves the steady passive spell trinket out i guess

After all the positive feedback I've been hearing about the resil changes, I'll be going with:

    www.wowhead.com/?item=Medallion of the Alliance

    and

    www.wowhead.com/?item=Battlemaster's Bravery

3300 /use plus another 4kish from glyph of stoneclaw is a nice little buffer.

But then again, if the resi has been buffed, we still need more firepower to get stuff down though

Personally just go with anything that buffs +spellpower all the way. Res will never save you if you can't kill someone with low spellpower

That's true. I've noticed in multiboxing pvp that survivability is about killing the dps rather than being harder to kill yourself. I've capped myself at around 21000hp and won't gem any higher simply beacuse that extra bit won't keep me alive, nor will a little extra resilience. What keeps me alive is killing dps, not leaving them at 5% hp only to get healed back to full again.

I'm not sure who it was, but there was a post where someone stacked all resil and stam (like 1100 resil and 26000hp) and the results in arena were not good, you still get bursted down, but you can't kill anything fast enough.

With mutliple dps on a shaman, there isn't much hope no matter what kind of gear you have. I was watching a live 2v2 broadcast of a 2600 rated team - resto shaman and feral druid. Resto shaman in full furious, tauren, probably packing >1000 resil and 23k hp- rogue priest team bursted him from 100% -> dead before cheap shot wore off. Just made me realize how soft shaman are

So i guess using the battlemasters trinket is what we should use. But what for the second slot? use that spellpower on use, or that passive spellpower and removes "yada yada" on use?

Use the battlemaster one with spellpower and use the Wintergrasp one with Spellpower and removes movement impair effects. I use those ones in arena. For everything else I have a titan forge disc from Wintergrasp (The one with Res and +spellpower for 15-20 seconds) for everything else.

Yeah, i just did some testes with the trinkets.

No doubt im gonna go for the two 111 sp trinkets (battlemasters and Titan forged rune of audacity).
    Think about it : 111x8= 888

    THATS 888 SPELLPOWER

PLuss the hp increase wich is nice during those pesky first second zergs. I can realy feel things dropping much easyer with these trinkets up, as heyaz said: our defence is killing their offence.
