had my samsung syncmaster 2232 BW+ for about 2 years, have not noticed anything out of the ordinary except awesomeness

though I do want to get that 28" hanns-G computer monitor for $329 to replace my crappy HP lcd I have

If it has <5ms pixel response time, it's probably a TN panel, which is shit. For another 80 bucks or so, you can get a Doublesight 26" that's an IPS panel and is a very nice panel.

I thought IPS panels were great for photo editing with bright colors but were sucky for games due to ghosting effects? I am somewhat on a budget, but i will look into that monitor, especially if it has component hookups
