I always leave it off.

The monitors were HD monitors, but I looked in the Nvidia control panel and it had a box unchecked for 'read as HD' or something. I checked it, didn't notice any change.

I haven't noticed any flickering of the monitor but it only happened once so far and it was on most of the day.

The other monitor that whitescreened seemed to be an issue w/ that particular monitor at least thats what I got when I googled it.

Lol, idk....I just plug it in and hope it works
