Disconnecting between PC's
Just tried using keyclone on 2 machines for the first time. Having a problem with my main machine dropping the keyclone connection to my slave machine. I've tried reaching over now and then and hitting the space bar to keep it active but that doesn't seem to work. Its a good connection.
Anyone else having a problem like this?
You may be having a problem with your router or connection between the two machines. KeyClone will connect and stay connected if your hard wiring between the network components are good.
Are you connecting your 'slave' machine to your 'main' machine? In the title bar of your 'main' is the address of that machine. In your 'slave' KeyClone, go into the settings and enter the address on the titlebar of your 'main' computer. It is under General I believe.

its a hard wired connection running though a cisco (linksys) router. It connects for about 5-10 minutes.
On my main I typed in the IP adress of the slave in the bottom of the main window and hit connect. I'll have to look around on the slave keyclone and see if I have somewhere to enter an IP.
what version are you running?
please make sure you are using v1.9i
I'm running v1.9i on each of them. I'll write up eactle what I'm doing when I get back. Off to another hospital to see the latest addition to the family
