    Default Question about Keyclone

First of all let me just say that not only is Keyclone an Amazing piece of software but the customer service that Rob provides is lightning fast, amazing, and second to none!! I would not multibox without it.

    Question:

I am running 2 accounts on 2 comps with 2 sets of Keyclone. Do I have to keep each WOW in windowed mode for keyclone to function, or can I have them both full screen since they are on two different comps?

I seem to get alot better frame rates when I run them at full screen plus I can run at a higher resolution with better graphics.

    Thanks in advance,
    Steven

yes, you can run them full screen... but the only issue you will have is making suer they are in the keyclone list. this can be resolved using the auto-add feature or by executing the wows via a command.

since you are running across multiple machines, i would recommend running your wows via a command. i would also set my secondary box to auto-connect to my primary. once connected, you would be able to execute a single command within keyclone to start wow on both machines simulataneously.

to do this, make sure you have a command defined within each keyclone. name them something like wow1 on your primary box and wow2 on your secondary. once that is done, you should be able to do this from the keyclone on your primary machine:

    B:wow2;wow1

this is 2 commands in 1. each command is separated by the semicolon. so the commands are:

    B:wow2

    and

    wow1

in the first, B:wow2, the B is the nickname of the keyclone on the secondary box. when it auto-connects, you should see the name appear in the list. (if it is an ip address, that won't work.. try restarting the secondary keyclone).

once the commands are started, the wow windows will automatically be added and you should be full screen and ready to log in. just remember that you are passing keys... if your password is not the same on both, hit the PAUSE key to suspend key passing.. type your pword... then toggle PAUSE again to resume key passing.

i hope this makes sense. drop me a note if you are having problems.

    Thanks Keyclone,
I'm at work, so I will try it when i get home.

However I am still a little foggy on the nickname part.

Currently when I connect my keyclones to each other, I do it by IP address. You said this will not work.

How do I connect my secondary box not using the ip address?

on yoru primary machine, make sure keyclone is running

on your secondary keyclone, go to keyclone/setup/general
put the ip and port (iport) of your primary keyclone in the auto-connect box
    check 'auto-connect'
go to the nickname field, at the top of the panel, and set the nickname to B (or whatever).
    hit Ok.
exit keyclone and restart (this will insure nickname is pushed properly)

now, when your secondary connects, it should show a nickname in the keyclone list on your primary.

to test running your macro, you can type B:wow2 on your primary keyclone and hit enter (or click 'connect')... this should launch wow2 on your secondary machine
