Sorry if this is a repost... I couldn't find anything.
Is there a way when you chat on your main, that your alts don't do anything like.
ie. If i type "Hey ya" that my alts don't use their spells that are binded to " Y ".

This kind of depends upon what key multiplexing software you use (assuming that you're a software multiboxer) and what you setup in your do-not-pass list. The best way that I've found is to just get in the habit of using the override key (defaults to PAUSE if using KeyClone) and then you can chat and type all you want. Otherwise, you end up either with the situation you describe (where it sounds like you may have added "/" to the do-not-pass list) or you have all of your characters saying the exact same thing every time (which can be kind of cool, but not so much when trying to chat/reply).
Hang around longer than 2 mins in IRC and we can usually get you an answer :_D

whatever you're broadcasting keys with should have a pause option, do that, chat it up, unpause and continue.
Another way (or at least the way I do it), is since KeyClone supports whitelists, I setup a strict whitelist for the normal characters and their cap versions not to be passed. Note though that this is more complex and probably is more trouble than its worth. I just got tired of hitting Pause just to open my bags on the main.
