Hello ALL, and all in capital letters because many of you are legion.

I have been "multiboxing" for some years now, played 2 accounts and later three even, using a main desktop and 2 laptops WITHOUT multiplexing or networking keystrokes. It was painful with 2 and just short of xp sharing with 3 ^^. I still enjoyed it a lot. I "recently" upgraded myself and have been running mixed groups with Hotkeynet keyboard sharing and macro designs ... that are not very efficient.

There is information in these forums to last me for a couple of lifes (not toon lifes no) and I will definitely harvest a lot from them (I already did way before finally registering). Please let me thank you all for that :thumbsup: .

I play 6 accounts, 3 of which were started by me and 3 other from friends who moved on from WoW. My 5man main setup is comprised of:

Level 80 Paladin Tank /Level 80 Mage DPS / Level 80 Mage DPS / Level 80 DK DPS / Level 74 Druid Healer

I play at EU Spanish server The Maelstrom. I am 35y old (almost), married, got a 19 month old daughter that likes the WoW screen more than I do and that loves spamming the spacebar button while I play, I have nicknamed her "stopcasting". That is when she is not turning the paladin pc off. You gotta love "Windows is shutting down" screen popping in the middle of a fight with several elites :cursing: .

Anyhow, lots of /clap and /cheer for you guys and hope I can eventually be of any use, help to the community. If at all at least for my silly personal life remarks.

As for my mbox goals. Heroics 5man and a 10man raid set up with a friend as fellow multiboxers 6/4 and/or 5/5.

Welcome, and I hope you have fun with your multiboxing.

If all of the accounts are not in your exact name - which they won't be since you're playing somebody else's accounts - there's a very high risk of getting them all banned as soon as a GM stops by to say "hi" after some friendly multibox hater reports you.

There are many, many, many examples of people being hit by this and Sod's Law says that it'll happen after you've hit 80 and geared up.....

Hello All,

Thanks a lot for your replies, and yes it is a reason for concern that half my accounts are under different users. I am lucky enough that one of them belonged to the friend I have lured into multiboxing. Therefore the number of mismatch accounts has been lowered to 2 but as you guys point I may have to work around this establishing extra accounts under my name.

Sadly enough I kept them because I could not let go of the characters they played. Funny story innit?

If you merge all your accounts into a battle.net account in your name, then all accounts will be updated to be in your name. Just a thought you could try that to remedy the different names issue...

I seriously doubt that Bliz would put such a big loophole in their policy by making account selling/trading as easy as merging into Battle.net.

I seriously doubt that Bliz would put such a big loophole in their policy by making account selling/trading as easy as merging into Battle.net.

well i am going to give it a try i think and see if that works.

I have therefore purchased an extra couple accounts and levelling 2shamans, 1 druid, 1 hunter moos with RAF. I will keep the other accounts for Roleplaying needs. We have a very complex story going on and it is actually one of the uses I have for multiple accounts usage .

Why would an account-selling website advise against it? Because it changes the credentials that they have access to - so they can't hack the account later, strip it of items and resel them and/or the account...

As for why you have more than one account, I'm not sure whats more wierd... LARPers or the guy who plays an MMO multiboxing so he can RP with himself.
