You need an addon that'll allow your actionbars to still be there when the "vehicle bar" or the "possess bar", as it's called, shows up. I am currently using Dominos, other mods like Bartender and maybe Macaroon work for this as well? There's probably others.

Your main bar will still switch, but your other bars remain, so I have a follow and an assist macro on my other bars, then just mash 1,2,4 on the "possess bar" to do the jousting. It works!

It definitely took a while to setup my bars though, it's like starting from scratch, but I'm glad I did it if for nothing else than ToC attempts.

I use the 15 button WoW Mouse and where my riptide and NS+HW usually sits, right and left "middle mouse" buttons, I put these:

right:
/assist focus
/click [target=vehicle,exists] VehicleMenuBarActionButton1
/click [target=vehicle,exists] VehicleMenuBarActionButton2

left
/assist focus
/click [target=vehicle,exists] VehicleMenuBarActionButton4

Got through it last night without a wipe for the first time. Just takes time to get used to. MAN heroic murders me! Need better gear.

Not sure how I didn't notice it before, but the right action bars stay when you shift into the vehicle bar? Wow...I was so concerned about that beforehand, lol...

Made my best attempts today at ToC Normal with the five druid group, got to the Black Knight and had him down to 1475 health (3rd phase) with just my tank left up, then he killed me. UGH! Punch to the balls on that one, geez...

Finding that on phase 2, I can pop starfall on my dps moonkin dps, and then either barkskin/hurricane or typhoon and the ghouls are pretty much dead, woot!

ok getting the 3 packs of 3 done is easy but when its boss mounted combat time i am having 2 problems.


1. every time i switch mounts the bosses all run for my other party members

2. Trying to reestablish aggro once i lose it.


any pointers would be appreciated.

Figured it out have now down 2 runs with out losing anyone, took about 250 gold in repairs but have all 3 bosses down.

Now to move on to heroic in a few days
