Here's the one I use. It'll attack {wibble}'s target if there is one, otherwise it'll just continue on the current target when {wibble} is off targeting on new mounts.

    One button does it all...

    Code:
    #showtooltip Thrust
    /focus {wibble}
    /target [target=focustarget, harm]
    /click VehicleMenuBarActionButton1
    /castsequence Defend,,,,,,,,,
    /cast Shield-Breaker
    Hope it helps

I have been into ToC normal many times and to be honest the mounted stuff is fine if it doesnt bug out.

    1. If you back your team all the way up against a wall they get line of sight issues.
    2. Pre-transition from mount on Champs can bug out (trampled all 3 for about 5 minutes before I gave up and zoned).
    3. Watch your targeting post-transition on Champs. For some reason I could not change target on my main screen.

Yep, I too have found my groove, and once you get past the mounted combat, the rest is Easy Mode! Though I will typically always lose 1 Shaman during the 3rd phase of the Black Knight. I cant seem to get my chain heals off fast enough before I lose one. Not a huge deal, just annoying.

So my question is this. Have any of you sat and got this instance on reg down to a science yet. If you have do you get on and do your dailies then farm this instance for 5+ runs a day. I would think with all the gear drops in here you can gear your whole team out in a matter of a cpl days and be rdy for heroic modes. I mean im looking forward to it in ten lvls on my team. Although im learning it first solo on my dk since hes 80. I want to know the fights down pat so when i get in there with my team its only the setup then 30 mins later reset lol. Like you all said this is a great place ive been in there twice but i guess since i have two tanks i would have to gear one ele shammy first and remove him for a time to gear the other tank then shammy back in. So it seems like all your groups could get geared out fast once your main team is geared swap out one at a time to gear another.
They say spiders have 8 legs well i guess im a rare and unimaginable specimen. Ive got 9 legs and my web comes from that 9th leg. HaHa.

I think you're on the right track with this instance on normal.

To be honest, I have the normal mode pretty much on farm (I do lose team members some times on the third fight or through some dumb mistake earlier in the battle.) I've pretty much upgraded a lot of what I can. Still need the tank trinket from the last fight but that's the biggest upgrade left for me.

So, for a fresh 80 team this would be a great place to gear up IF it can be handled by a fresh 80 team in mostly blues. I'm not sure that's a given. Hard for most of us to gauge simply because many of the teams here were already geared beyond "fresh 80" status when 3.2 came out.

Me and some friends cleared this place abunch while only being level 77-79. It was actually very easy for us and we only had a few deaths while they learned the bosses. The only problem is all the epics require level 80 so we all had a nice set for when we hit 80.

Interesting thing happened last night, the champs bugged again (shock I know) and were all staying trampled for minutes. I decided to unmount my team and see what happened. Well it got all the champs back up for the ground combat; however, they all had the shield ability from mounted combat. I ran out to reset.

When I came back in the were standing near the gate like normal, except they all had the mounted shields up (95% damage reduction). I noticed the mounts were still around the sides, so I decided to see what would happen if I engaged mounted. To my surprise it went very well... so if the encounter bugs out on the champs don't give up and reset it. You may still be able to get through that phase.

So, did you manage to kill them while mounted using thrust etc???

This happened to me once, but I decided to just reset the instance and do it again. I never thought about trying to fight them, I did mount up one guy and toss a shield-breaker to see what would happen and it removed the shield, but the champ quickly reapplied it. I just assumed they would become totally invincible so I reset.

sorry guys, been away for a bit and out of the PVE scene ... I've got a pally/priest/3xmage team in BOE purples with no heroic gear. Would ToC normal be a decent way to gear them vs. learning the heroics?

Yeah, it's a good way to start out. It will get you a few ilvl 200 epics but you are still going to want to do heroics for conquest badge loot which will be better.
