End game boredom

Maybe it's just me, but i find the end game rather boring. I dinged 55 on a mage and then rolled DK. Got the DK to 80 and ever since then i've hated nearly every minute. I was rejected from heroic groups because of my gear. After finally managing to get some good epics i still do terrible DPS. But i also find running heroics and just doing dailies boring. So i created an Alt but i'm thing, it's going to be the same. All i seem to enjoy doing is leveling and then get to end game and go yawn. Am i missing something?

Hunter / Healer ( I prefered shammy ) combo was always the easiest duo for me.

I'm running 2 Gnome locks. I have over 2 months of RAF so i can easily do 2 teams to 60.
