laptop / notebook suggestions?

I"m a 3 boxer and looking to move to a notebook as my desktop is downstairs and it is a pain with wife n kids to get on. ;p

That Amazon one you have linked seems like a ripoff, unless I'm missing something.

I think the first one was a fair price. High end CPU, 4 gigs and 4850 in a lappie is not cheap.
Your suggestion is not bad and at half the price, worth that. I think I would look more for something in between the two listed.

I wouldn't buy a top of the line dual core CPU, even in a laptop. Worry about RAM, video card (and VRAM) and number of cores... for 1/2 the price it's a no brainer in my book.
