Prob im having is that the champions charge my group.....and its basicly over. 1 at a time they back up and charge demolishing one of my guys at a time. By the time they wipe my 4 guys out i have 1 of the bosses at half health........im doing something wrong but cant understand what.

I had problems the with the few attempts made, Downloaded macaroon which is a new addon for me. Still had problems however I am assuming its because there is somthing wrong with my macaroon setup. For some reason it seems to work fine outside on the dummies, but when i get in the arena it stops working? Really frustrating have to tab spam my targets, just for a fail after 5 mins. I WILL GET THIS TO WORK!
    The Guild of ME? <--Armory
    4 x Mage 80
    1 x Pally + 4 x Shammy 80
    5 x Druid 80
    2 x Pally + 3 x DK 76
    4 x Pally 65
    4 x Locks 60

Tried this method and succes on the first try! Although I was too slow to swap weapons and pick up the 3 champions but doesn't matter as you don't have to do the mounted combat again if you've defeated them before.
Edit : just cleared normal mode. Gonna farm that for a bit before doing heroic but it's basically more of the same.

You need to be smashing 1,2, and 4 TOGETHER. This will keep your shields up on your toons, it will shield break when the mobs are at range, and melee when they are nearby. A single charge and a few hits shouldn't be enough to take out a character unless they aren't keeping their shields up, or maybe it was your main who was already low. In which case just jump on a new horse on your main. This will clear aggro and they will target another character. I've never had to change horses more than once during the fight on my main, and once again on another character. Just cleared it again on heroic using this smashing method.

Again, there is no trick here. You don't try to 'time' your button smashings or pick individual abilities. Just put your fingers on 1, 2, and 4 and non-stop press them all together.

So easy a caveman could do it!

I suggest doing the citadel dailies for a while if you haven't. It might help a bit because running all five on vehicles pretty much sucks IMO. You get more used to it after doing those dailies. That's where I learned not to press "charge" for example =).

The hardest part is keeping them trampled IMO. I didn't even know I had to do this at first.

Also, I read this instance has been very buggy (e.g., invulnerable champions). Not sure if that is still the case or not.

Thanks for the post. I'm sure it will help most people. But to answer the question (rhetorical?) ... some people's setups don't immediately accept the easiest solutions, and so they're having trouble. Like, I could add an assist key (I don't usually use one) and make a new follow (because my usual one will retarget the leader and then cleartarget altogether), but then I'm left with all the keys within reach of my left hand being translated to hotstrings en route to my alts. This is all eventually fixable, and I eventually worked it out, but it's not necessarily obvious.

(I hope I don't sound like I'm annoyed -- I'm not. It's just slightly grating to get to add "wtf? It's so EASY!!" on top of existing frustration, when our playstyle doesn't insist on everyone having the same UI. It's like when people slap their foreheads at people running warlocks or something, and say, "DUDE! I can't believe you're having trouble with that! Just spam grounding totems!" )

I was messing around the other night, waiting for a group of friends to do that instance, and solo'd all the waves up to the first sets of boss's, Never had to change horses, this was on normal mode mind you

    LOL!

Thanks for the guide Jimbo. My only suggestion would be to throw in some pics to help people get an idea of where to position themselves.

    Cheers,
