looking for bizdev and/or angel to help startup with patented nextgen bathroom system

ok, this is completely unrelated, and is not an ad... but it's filed properly

my sister and brother-in-law have a patented and IAPMO certified odor removal system for toilets (i know... yuck it up). their system installs like a normal toilet and will push the odor into the sewer using the existing lines. the only alternative on the market requires extensive fan and duct work plus punching holes through walls to vent. definitely not a winner.

at this point, they are shipping product but need to take it to the next level. the next level would require additional product lines and/or licensing of the patent to US and foreign toilet manufacturers.

they have had quite a few people excited about the product, but nothing concrete yet.

anyone can make toilets... but the only deciding factor between them is color and shape. adding an odor removal system would make a toilet line untouchable by the competition, marketing-wise

they have had quite a bit of buzz (bob villa and cnn), but need to add a star player to their team to make it take off.

i believe they would benefit from a quality VC firm, or angel, that isn't looking to play games and recognizes a next gen product when they see it. they are not looking for seed capital, but first round as they are shipping product.

the funny thing was that the day after i told them to make this, saying he could be the next 'sham wow' guy if it works out... i heard on the radio that the group which promoted Billy Mayes is looking for the next guy... and they will be conducting auditions here in tampa.

(i'd swear, social consciousness is a real thing)
