Warlock epic mount quest was kinda expensive pre-TBC, but post-Wrath?!? Come on! If you have lvl 80 char on same server then you can earn that gold in a day, if you know what your doing...

Btw, that wlock mount quest was quite fun so it's good to complete it at least once
