    Default Which instances?

    Hi,

Ive recently begin multiboxing a 5 man team (1 bear druid, 3 element shaman, 1 resto shaman), and while gathering quests are extremely fun and challenging (NOT) I simply cannot wait to get into instances.
Seeing as I am alliance, I guessing that first instances is deadmines and stoackades. But at what levels can I go there? Wiwwiki (or was it wowhead) said lvl 22 for deadmines and level 27 for stockades, but that seems a bit high...?

ps. Please dont say RAF, I live en Denmark and we do not have access to that sweet sweet sweet feature

you can go to deadmines from lvl 10, you should probably look to be hitting it at around 12-13

    stocks 18-20 i think

    - ouch no RAF talk about painful

WoWHead lists Deadmines as 15-20 and 24-32 for Stocks. You can also check the comments for each dungeon for the general concensus on the appropriate level for them. Some are much lower than listed quests or quick facts due to the nerfs that went in vs gear buffs.

i know bears can tank but you might want to seriously think about rolling a prot paladin. Makes a lot of instances a joke.

I have a feral tank and a Protadin, both i213+geared, and I notice zero difference in how well either tanks heroics, 10's or 25's. They both have strengths and weakness'. The big advantage druid has, and the reason I rerolled druid over paladin as my MT, is that you can dual spec balance. Balance DPS sync's very well with ele shamans in BG's, and filling 5x raid DPS slots. Paladins, on the other hand, don't contribute anything outside of tanking. Ret doesn't sync well at all with elemental and holy is not the best choice as a boxed healer compared to a disc priest or tree. I get a lot more out of my druid.

I would stick with 4+1, though. Arena and BG's work much better with quad shaman plus an active healer. Your second druid will be the odd one out if you PvP at all. Though I suppose if your healer is a priest, and you can manage to sustain DPS while using of root and cyclone effectively, it could work, Most shaman arena teams have little CC beyond whatever the single active healer can bring.

    Just my opinion

start vc at 15-20, sfk at 15 also. stocks at 22 i would guess. then SM.

bear tanks are great. every single healer i've spoken to told me they love healing my druid over my unholy tank dk, over my prot pally, and over my prot warrior.

tho druids have less bells and whistles than dk's, they're not as reactive as pally or warrior. do note that they're all different tanking styles and tank differently from one another. you might want to experiment also. tho i've found warrior tanking the most challenging of the four, especially with multiboxing.

Easily the best thing about my bear is being able to reposition AoE threat. If you drop consecrate on a Paladin and something goes wrong, you're screwed for 8 seconds. Swipe spam is great for picking up unexpected adds.

Juust to give you a quick update.

Went to deadmines yesterday as level 16 and it was....how shall I put it...challenging

I took down the first boss with a couple of wipes, some was my lack of coordination (wipes on trash) but the wipe on the boss was because I ran out of mana on my elemental shamans, so no dps == wipe.
I think Ill get another level or two and try again.

Regarding the group composition, thank you for the helpful hints. I have no intention of PvP'in with this setup, so that is not a concern. Regarding the bear tanking, as far as I can see its relatively simple compared to, for example, warrior tanking, so I think it fits my very limited attention capabilities fine

Just so you feel better - my first (mixed) team couldn't do deadmines until I was level 20 (needed the level 20 spells for some reason) - so unless you're very good or playing solo or they nerfed it I don't think you can do it at 15 or 16
