Default ISBoxer, Repeater and Keymap Problems

I'm using ISBoxer to 2-box EQ2 on a Vista64 machine. Been trying the Repeater (with Whitelist) and the Keymaps. Problem is, both seem to be problematic. For now using the Repeater as that problem is not as bad.

With the Repeater it doesnt' properly handle Ctrl/Alt/Shift, sometimes causing those to get stuck in particular after task switches, so the second client uses like Alt+3 when I press 3, which is quite inconvenient. Doing a quick Ctrl+Alt+1, Ctrl+Alt+2, Ctrl+Alt+1 solves that. But doing that all the time after switching back from a browser or something is anoying.

When using a Keymap the Ctrl/Alt/Shift-Problem doesn't exist, but the latency in broadcasting the keystrokes is too high and that causes all sorts of gameplay problems.

Anyone knows a solution to one of the problems? Don't really mind using either Keymaps or the Repeater, but preferably without those issues.

The issue you're mentioning with Repeater is probably caused by switching windows with the default global hotkeys. If you don't need the hotkeys global (as in, you can be typing in your browser and hit Ctrl+Alt+1), you can probably specifically set the hotkey to Ctrl+Alt+1 etc in your Character Set slots, and the problem might go away.

It's interesting you mention latency with key maps, as it should be identical to using Repeater. The difference is that Key Maps allow you the option of holding the keys while you hold it (which would be identical to Repeater, where press/release takes effect when you press or release the hotkey), or doing a quick press+release when you release the key. If your issue is timing, it sounds like you have the Hold option disabled for your mappings, and things may improve by enabling it.

The issue with Keymaps was indeed that Hold was disabled. Now it works much better. Thanks for the other hint aswell.
