I used to have this attitude, then it struck me as counterproductive and possibly dangerous. I would expect the people who understand the risks the best to be the ones to make sure they take the proper precautions, but often we're the ones who drop our guard the most. I've never been hacked and never had a virus or spyware problem, but part of the reason is because I make sure to protect my systems. I'm at very low risk for having my accounts hacked, but I bought an authenticator anyway. It was something like $8. If you can afford to multibox, a one-time $8 fee for what is effectively 100% security is more than reasonable.
