    Default isboxer + innerspace bug?

hello, i am having a problem with isboxer and innerspace.

first I made some keymaps for my mage duo and used the wizard for the rest of the keymaps. I lvled awhile then made some keymaps for the warlocks I just made. then played the warlocks for a few days. Now I went back to mages and the hotkeys I made in the keymaps are not working.

The only way to fix this is to "delete" the mage keymaps and "redo" them

but if I exit the game and load my warlock character set, the keymaps for warlocks do not work. I do have some of the keys the same in both keymaps. but I thought you can load a character set and it will only use those keymaps asociated with that character set. Its a pain to remake my keymaps from scratch. what I could do is save an instance of only the mage keymaps and other options, then load that save file and and export it to innerspace. is there another way to go about this beisde changing what keybinds I am using for the keymaps? I need them kind of the same so i can remember them :P

well I saved keymaps and whatnot and cleared isboxer. But when i go to load a keymap, it says "failed to import mages.xml, couldn't figure out what kind of file it is" all that work

I actually need to get rid of that export option, it's best to copy/paste. If you open up mages.xml and paste it here, or upload it here, I can help you paste your mappings back into ISBoxer

ok great to hear lax, i'll figure it out

also any word on the problem I am having with characters not using the keymaps for that character set? is it user error or program error? The way I have it now, is to make my key maps, windows options, etc for the selected characterset, then export all of it to a file. when I want to play those characters. I clear isboxer, load the saved .xml file and export to innerspace. can not test until the servers come back up, but in theory this should work.

Without seeing your config, I would very much assume that it's user error rather than a bug in the software. This has been tested and tested and tested and worn out by many users besides yourself -- usually it's just something simple you overlooked, like forgetting to assign the key map to your character set. Anyway, if you want you can share your config and I would be happy to help you with it

well here is my druid set. I used the wizard and just changed the keymaps for some keys. I also pasted my druid keymap I had saved.

its weird, everything works besides my FTL 1 through = keys. when I switch to my slave, the FTL keys work, when I switch back to the master, they don't

just seems when i make a change or add something to isboxer keymaps, they get screwed up somehow

If I had to guess, I'd say that perhaps it is related to the particular keys you are assigning to, with the particular FTL modifiers you are selecting. I would recommend leaving the Key Combination as-is for the FTL buttons, and just change the Hotkey (they do not need to match)

ok I exited wow(s), shutdown innerspace, and ran isboxer as admin (windows 7). I cleared isboxer and ran the wizard and it generated ftl dps keys, control and general keymaps. I made a new key map called druids and entered all my stuff into this keymap.I then dragged my character set to this keymap and made sure everything is correct. added druids keymap to control keymap toggle on/off. I saved and exported to innerspace, loaded innerspace as admin and clicked my character set druids to load wow.

in game I made sure keymaps were on for druid and went to find a enemy. I targeted the mob as my master, pushed 2 for wrath. the master casted but the slave did not, just gave an error message "do not have a target". I switched from master to slave and using my windows switching hotkey. now that my slave is the new master, I targeted a new mob and tried casting wrath. this time both of them casted and and every hotkey using 1 through = worked.

so I am not sure what is going on, I checked everything and just can not find the problem. maybe something is corrupted in the innerspace folder or in my isboxer addon folder. i'll try uninstalling/reinstalling both innerspace/isboxer and see if that works.

ok unintalled and reinstalled, no dice..

but I found something interesting, I have drink on key "-" so i decided to drink and both of my characters started drinking

but I tried casting wrath and only my master casted, not the slave. so this leaves me to believe something is wrong with wow or the ftl targetting that the wizard made for me(called "General" keymap, "FTL Assist Me" mapped key)

here is what is in the macro box for the "ftl assist me" mapped key.

    Code:
    /assist [nomod]player;[nomod:alt,mod:lshift,nomod:ctrl]Rynem;[nomod:alt,mod:rshift,nomod:ctrl]Rynam
this does not work, at least for me. I get the "you have no target" when rynam is the slave. when rynam is the master, both use the spell. this I can figure out why

I finally got it working for the druids, yay me

if anyone cares, what happened was this.

a few files became corrupted in my Wow's WTF accountname folder. namely saved variables, bindings-cache, macros, etc. so i had to delete them and all of the isboxer files that were made there and redo my keymaps from scratch. Then I made a folder called "innerspace profiles" and saved the isboxer profile to that folder and called the file "druids". I then closed innerspace and exported the isboxer profile to innerspace. I reopened innerpsace(ran as admin) and selected my character-set by right-clikcing innerspace and I was off. everything works, for now. I still have not tried loading a different profile, namely warlocks to see if druids will work after i play my warlocks for awhile. if it does become corrupted again, at least I know what to do
