Finally my foot keyboard is finished
I just finished building my foot keyboard
I have 5 buttons for each foot and they are all wired up to a USB numpad keyboard so I can press numpad key 0-9 with my feet. This gives me another 40 keybindings (when/if using ctrl, alt, shift macros on each button)
But first I have to learn to use the buttons with my feet, altough it was easier to find the right button than I first thought it wasn't too easy still need som practice
At first I thought the layout was one for each hand, before my brain kicked in and I realised the scale!
Coming out of nowhere drivin' like rain, Stormbringer dance on the thunder again

Nice one. I was thinking of making one myself as well. Do you have any other picures and/or a list of use materials?

What I bought
1x USB Numpad keyboard, the cheapest one I found cost ~15€
10x Buttons that only gives a signal when they are pushed down
What I already had
lots of 2 wired cable
"lab circuit board" don't know what to call it I used it to connect the USB keyboard circuit board to my wires to the buttons
MDF board one big square and one smaller to separate the left and right side, makes it easier to find the right button close to the middle. 2 triangle shaped to make the board raised one the back side.

This would be great for me but I don't understand how to connect the 2 wire to the keypad. Underneath the button when you pop it off can you just solder the wire to 2 points or something?

Do you think you could write a 'How-To' guide? I'm not that handy with wiring and stuff but I have wanted a footboard like this for some time. There's nothing available commercially that matches it.
