Default Is there any way to update a laptop?

Is there any way to update this computer from 5 to 10, or can someone tell me how i can possible play 10?

    Processor: Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU T4200 @ 2.00Ghz, 2.00 GHz

    RAM: 4.00GB

    System: 32.

Graphic card: Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family. 4500M or something it says.

    Graphic memory possible: 1293 MB.

The thing is, is it possible to add like, 4 GB Memory or something in a USB-Spot? or something like that..

For graphics and CPU, unless they make another discrete module with the updated part you want in it (and a concomitant BIOS update probably) then no.

For the hard drives, usually yes as long as it's the same form factor and bus type.

For memory, yes (within limits; laptops are usually more strict about how much and what configurations are allowed).

Check with the manufacturer. They can tell you what parts are compatible and whether there are upgrade modules for the components.

[edit] As far as taking it apart and all that, you're on your own.

So, I can't like, buy a 4GB Space that i can plug-in into my USB or something?

Unfortunately no way to add RAM through a USB or ExpressCard port. Basically RAM is connected to the CPU via a much faster connection than either of those, so any memory you add via those connections will run much too slowly to be useful.

Looking at your system, the graphics are probably the biggest limit. I 5 boxed in classic WoW and TBC using a similar CPU and 4GB RAM but I had a 512MB 7950GTX discrete GPU.

The integrated graphics chip in your system means that there is no chance of adding a discrete card which would make it more capable.

The only way you could add more RAM would be to upgrade to 2 x 4GB DIMMS instead of the 2 x 2GB DIMMS you have currently. This will set you back about $400. You will need to check with your manufacturer that your motherboard will support this however and also upgrade to a 64 bit OS to utilise it.

What it comes down though is that if you want to box anywhere in the outlands or northrend in WoW with more than 1-2 toons, I don't think your current graphics system will cut it unfortunately.

    Cheers

You might as well just buy another laptop to run side by side configurations rather than spending the dough to upgrade your current laptop. That's if you can even upgrade your laptop. Alot of low to midlevel laptops on the market are built so that they aren't upgradable or only upgradeable thru the manufacturer.

Just buy a new laptop, they really are not upgradeable at all.
The poetry that comes from the squaring off between,
And the circling is worth it,
    Finding beauty in the
    dissonance
