Another one bites the dust

Done with pvp, after 2 weeks of trying our best to queue dodge FoK rogues team's tonight we just said screw it, we have our gear already we have to learn to beat them at this point since we get them every night ( 4rth night straight this week ). Well we had multiple FoK teams, lost nearly every game and hemorraged over 300 rating in a few hours. The simple fact is 4 elemental shamans cannot beat a team with a 33/38 rogue ( FoK spec ), thats just all there is to it. At best you can pull a win off every now again with a will placed instant lava burst but if that doesnt kill the FoK rogue you wont get another spell off, and you'll standing there .. mouth agape as your entire team is locked out again and again and killed off ( though dont get me wrong, a well geared FoK rogue will kill you before you even get a chance to get locked out much... think 7-8 sec .. dual FoK team .. think about 3 or 4 ).

So yea QQ, I'm done... best of luck to all who continue to persist but, until FoK is fixed your really "banging your head into a wall" as Aelli put it awhile back and frankly seeing how long blizzard continues to let FoK go unchanged really makes me lose faith in WoW pvp in general.

For sure. FoK is a broken ability and blizzard is hesitant to fix it because rogue representation is so low on 5v5.

Its a double whammy for shammy boxers no doubt.


Edit: I had to re-register becasue after 100 attempts to reset my password I gave up. I suppose one of these days I will get 100 emails to reset Fat Tires password. Its good to start anew every once in a while .lol

Well, at least you got all the gear. I pretty much quit caring a month ago when we got stuck in the 1600s and got so far behind everyone on gear, we couldn't move up. Today we were on a hot streak, going from 1580-1708 in a few hours. Our only losses were against full furious 2200+ teams, some that had played us a dozen times before so knew how to cheese us to death.

I'm happy I got pants, if I could get the chest piece and call it a season I'd be happy.

I can imagine how you must feel though. I've been inches away from deleting my chars or just uninstalled wow for weeks - I'm not a big pve'er, although I do some heroics and old instances for fun, and as far as PVP I've done everything I can... battlegrounds, great world pvp, a million wintergrasp games, so arena was really the final challenge, and with it being such a stupid aoe spamming gimmick now, I wondered if there was really any point in playing if I was just going to be pulling my hair out. For weeks my healer could barely get me online by monday night to do 10 games

Yea FoK is dam stupied even in BG's no cooldown nothing if it was on a 1min cool down would be better.

You guys have done well this season. Have had several people hit 2k+ and many just below as muti boxers. If you think about it you guys have done really really well playing how you want. Today is the patch and a whole new season is upon us with a couple of shammy buffs. Look forward and dont look back. Its a game after all, if your really competitive then go outside and maybe get some perspective or punch a cat.
