Thread: Well I did it!

    Default Well I did it!

I just ordered 4 boxes and should have everything set-up by the end of next week or so. Just using 5 wireless keyboards for now. Just need to find 4 cheap 17inch monitors.
One question I have is what is the best way to split my cable internet?

Grats, welcome to the club I currently just use a standard router which should be sufficient for 5 boxes. Others might have a more in depth look though.

Buy a switch, not a hub. Very cheap and there are lots of tutorials on this. Ideally, get a router with a built in switch and a hardware firewall.

Heh - why the 37" ? You don't get more resolution (less than a 30" 2560x1600) and it will be harder to see your other characters.

yeah I my change it out been thinking about and will get a 5 and maybe a 6th for surfing running at a 1360X768 now. But to keep the wireless mice all in sync I have to run all the same res right?
